The stop is on line 1 of the NET, from Hucknall via the city centre to Beeston and Chilwell. Trams run at frequencies that vary between 4 and 8 trams per hour, depending on the day and time of day.Gregory Street stop opened on 25 August 2015, along with the rest of NET's phase two.

The Priory Church of St. Anthony, Lenton is a parish church in the Church of England in Lenton, Nottingham.

Lenton Priory was a Cluniac monastic house in Nottinghamshire, founded by William Peverel circa 1102-8. The priory was granted a large endowment of property in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire by its founder, which became the cause of violent disagreement following its seizure by the crown and its reassignment to Lichfield Cathedral. The priory was home mostly to French monks until the late 14th century when the priory was freed from the control of its foreign mother-house. From the 13th-century the priory struggled financially and was noted for "its poverty and indebtedness". The priory was dissolved as part of King Henry VIII's Dissolution of the Monasteries.

Lenton is an area of the City of Nottingham, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. Most of Lenton is situated in the electoral ward of 'Dunkirk and Lenton', with a small part in 'Wollaton East and Lenton Park'. Originally a separate agricultural village, Lenton became part of the town of Nottingham in 1877, when the town's boundaries were enlarged. Nottingham became a city as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Queen Victoria in 1897.

The Gregory Ground was a football and cricket ground in Nottingham in England. It was the home of Nottingham Forest between 1885 and 1890. It was also used as a cricket ground by Lenton United in between 1888 and 1969.

The William Woodsend Memorial Homes were erected in 1912–13 on Derby Road in Lenton, Nottingham.They were built as six almshouses in memory of local builder William Woodsend by his sons, Jack and Arthur. These almshouses have several conditions of tenancy including preference to be given to persons who, through no fault of their own, have become reduced in circumstances. Or, to women previously employed as governesses, nurses or school mistresses who have not been able to make provision for their old age. The William Woodsend Memorial Homes charity looked after the property and its residents from 1913 until 2007. When the charity managing the homes ran out of money in 2007, the homes were taken over by the Nottingham Community Housing Association.

The GlaxoSmithKline Carbon Neutral Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry is a chemistry laboratory in Nottingham, England. It is located on the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham, and is part of the university's School of Chemistry. The school carries out research at the carbon neutral laboratory, which is the first of its kind in the UK. The construction was majority funded by GlaxoSmithKline, as part of their commitment to green chemistry first announced in 2010, and saw a grant of £12 million provided to the project.There are five teaching and research laboratories on the first floor, with write-up space for about 100 researchers. The laboratories have been designed to encourage sharing of equipment, in order to be more collaborative than traditional ones. There are also dedicated instrument rooms, including nuclear magnetic resonance, and space to work with schools on outreach activities. The laboratory contains a number of innovations to reduce its environmental impact including a wooden construction, a green roof, solar panels, and extensive use of passive ventilation.

The Marcus Garvey Centre is a club venue in Lenton, Nottingham, England. The building was designed and built by Thomas Cecil Howitt in 1931 for Raleigh Bicycle Company as its main headquarters. An 'R' for Raleigh can still be seen at the apex of the stage. It is decorated with a frieze, a broad horizontal band of sculptured decoration; cherubs building bikes decorate the outside of the building. It was named the Marcus Garvey Centre after Marcus Garvey and is now an 800 capacity club venue, that has been used for public events for 30 years.
