Knypersley Hall

Tunstall Road, also known as Victoria and Knypersley Social Welfare Centre, is a cricket ground in Knypersley, Staffordshire. The ground is located along the Tunstall Road, which itself forms part of the A527 Road. It has played host to List A matches for Derbyshire County Cricket Club, in addition to playing host to Staffordshire County Cricket Club in minor counties cricket.

Biddulph High School is a mixed upper school (termed 'high school') and sixth form located in the Knypersley area of Biddulph in the English county of Staffordshire.Previously a community school administered by Staffordshire County Council, Biddulph High School converted to academy status in September 2011. Biddulph Town Hall is a municipal building in the High Street in Biddulph, a town in Staffordshire, in England. It currently serves as the meeting place of Biddulph Town Council and as a venue for concerts and other public events.

Black Bull railway station is a disused railway station in Staffordshire, England. The station was opened in 1864 by the North Staffordshire Railway on the company's Biddulph Valley Line. The line had opened in 1860 and was primarily concerned with mineral traffic, mostly coal and ironstone from the collieries and ironworks along the Biddulph Valley. Passenger services were of a much lesser interest to the NSR so it was not until a few years later that a number of stations were opened supported by an infrequent number of passenger trains. Passenger traffic was never intensive and by 1922 all the places along the valley were better served by bus services. Consequently, the London, Midland and Scottish Railway withdrew the passenger services in 1927. Faciliites for goods traffic remained until 1964.

Biddulph railway station was a railway station opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1864. Originally named Gillow Heath the station was renamed Biddulph on 1 May 1897. The station was on the Biddulph Valley line that ran from a junction just north of Congleton on the Stoke-on-Trent – Macclesfield line to a junction south of Stoke-on-Trent station. Passenger traffic was withdrawn from the station on 11 July 1927, but freight traffic continued until 5 October 1964.

Knypersley Reservoir near Biddulph, Staffordshire, England, was built in 1827 to supply water to the Caldon Canal, along with two others at Stanley Pool and Rudyard Lake.It is the only reservoir along the course of the River Trent.There are two adjacent lakes at the site, the upper Serpentine Pool feeding the lower Knypersley Pool or reservoir. Designed by Thomas Telford, it was constructed by the waterways engineer James Potter. There were a number of problems both during and after construction with settlement of the dam, and a number of repairs had to be made.In 2006, substantial improvements were made by British Waterways, and it is currently operated and managed by their successors, the Canal & River Trust, as part of the Caldon Canal group which also includes Stanley Pool and Rudyard Lake.The fishing rights are owned separately by a consortium of local angling clubs, the Cheshire and North Staffs Angling Association.The fishery is known for its stocks of large fish, notably bream, but also includes roach, perch, pike and a few carp that due to their low numbers are not easy to catch. The association manages the fishery on a catch and release basis.

Chatterley Whitfield Colliery is a disused coal mine on the outskirts of Chell, Staffordshire in Stoke on Trent, England. It was the largest mine working the North Staffordshire Coalfield and was the first colliery in the UK to produce one million tons of saleable coal in a year. The colliery and pithead baths complex are on Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register due to being in very bad condition and not in use. In September 2019, it was named on the Victorian Society's list of the top ten most endangered buildings in England and Wales.
