The Majesty Building is an 18-story, 300,000-square-foot (27,871 m2) office building located at 123 East Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, Florida. The building remained a building shell (bare floors and support beams) for over a decade. Given its proximity to Interstate 4 and towering appearance, it became widely known as the I-4 Eyesore or Eyesore on I-4. Glass windows that enclosed the shell were later installed.

Altamonte Mall is a super-regional shopping mall located in Altamonte Springs, Florida, United States, a suburb of Orlando. The mall features the traditional retailers JCPenney, Dillard's, and Macy's, in addition to an 18-screen AMC Theatres. The Bradlee-McIntyre House is a Victorian Cottage Style house. It is now located in Longwood, Florida at 130 West Warren Avenue, after being moved there from Altamonte Springs. On March 28, 1991, the house was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.The Bradlee-McIntyre House was built circa 1885 for noted Boston architect Nathaniel Jeremiah Bradlee and family. It is the only surviving "cottage" in Orange and Seminole counties, a Queen Anne Style three-story, 13-room winter vacation house featuring an octagonal tower and "ginger-bread" trim typical of the flamboyant houses of the Victorian Period. Currently the Bradlee-McIntyre House is open to the public for tours on scheduled days as posted at the house. Museum tours are offered the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm.

Altamonte Springs is a suburban city in Central Florida in Seminole County, Florida, United States, which had a population of 46,231 at the 2020 United States Census. The city is in the northern suburbs of the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area, which the United States Census Bureau estimated had a population of 2,054,574 in 2008.Dr. Washington Kilmer of Cincinnati was the first person of European background to settle into the area circa 1870, and he named the area Altamonte. In 1882, the Altamonte Land, Hotel and Navigation Company, founded by Thomas C. Simpson and four other Massachusetts businessmen, gave the area its present name: Altamonte Springs. The company developed the core community along Altamonte Avenue (today's SR 436) between Maitland and Longwood Avenues (today's Ronald Reagan Boulevard). On November 11, 1920, the residents of Altamonte Springs voted 38 to 7 in favor of incorporation.

Altamonte Springs station is a train station in Altamonte Springs, Florida, serving SunRail, the commuter rail service of Central Florida. The station opened May 1, 2014, and marks the return of passenger rail service in Altamonte Springs since the days of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It is the southernmost SunRail station in Seminole County, Florida. Altamonte Springs is typical of most SunRail stations featuring canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs and includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, and separate platforms designed for passengers in wheelchairs. The station is located along the former CSX A-Line (originally constructed by the South Florida Railroad) on the northeast corner of County Road 427 and State Road 436. The east side of the station is flanked by a local road named "Station Street", evidently named for the former ACL station, and the parking lot contains entrances both at CR 427 and at Leonard Street. A transit-oriented development called City Park at Merritt Street, which will feature a three-story, 102-unit affordable housing community consisting of townhomes atop flats, is currently planned to be constructed adjacent to the station.

WDYZ (660 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Altamonte Springs, Florida, and serving Greater Orlando. The station is owned by JVC Media and airs a sports radio format. The studios and offices are in Maitland, Florida. WDYZ's transmitter is off Charles Street in Longwood. The station uses a three-tower array. It transmits with 3,500 watts by day, but because AM 660 is a clear channel frequency reserved for WFAN in New York City, WDYZ must reduce power to 1,000 watts at night. The station uses a directional antenna at all times.

The district is bounded by West Pine Avenue, South Milwee Street, Palmetto Avenue, and CR 427. Lyman High School is a public high school located in Longwood, Florida. The school, founded in 1924, has been consistently ranked among the best in the state by the Florida Department of Education. For the 2012-2013 school term Lyman High School garnered a straight 'A' average, the best in the district, as a result of extremely high student scores on the Florida Comprehension Assessment Test. In 2014, it was ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the 27th best high school in the state of Florida and the overall best high school in Central Florida. It was ranked by Newsweek as the 204th best high school in the United States in 2010. The school was also named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 1982. The school is operated by Seminole County Public Schools.

It was located on Old Dixie Highway but is now located at 300 North Ronald Reagan Boulevard. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on May 10, 1984. The Longwood Hotel was built in 1885.

The station opened May 1, 2014, and marks a return of passenger rail service in Longwood dating back to the community's days as a junction of the South Florida Railroad, Orange Belt Railway and old Florida Midland Railway, all of which were acquired by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. Unlike most SunRail stations, which feature canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs, Longwood's canopies have traditional brown gabled roofs with cupolas and faux dormer windows. It also includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, separate platforms designed for passengers in wheelchairs. The station is located along the former CSX A-Line (originally constructed by the South Florida Railroad) northeast of the Longwood Historic District on the north side of East Church Avenue. A transit-oriented development called Weston Park was built adjacent to the station, which features a 208-unit, four story luxury apartment community.
