The Majesty Building is an 18-story, 300,000-square-foot (27,871 m2) office building located at 123 East Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, Florida. The building remained a building shell (bare floors and support beams) for over a decade. Given its proximity to Interstate 4 and towering appearance, it became widely known as the I-4 Eyesore or Eyesore on I-4. Glass windows that enclosed the shell were later installed.

Altamonte Mall is a super-regional shopping mall located in Altamonte Springs, Florida, United States, a suburb of Orlando. The mall features the traditional retailers JCPenney, Dillard's, and Macy's, in addition to an 18-screen AMC Theatres. The mall features prominent specialty retailers such as Apple Store, Volcom, Cotton On, Sephora, and White House Black Market.The center is the largest enclosed and conventional shopping mall in Seminole County and the third largest in total by square footage in Central Florida behind The Mall at Millenia and The Florida Mall.

Sanlando Springs is a second magnitude freshwater spring and an unincorporated community in Seminole County, Florida, United States, just west of Longwood, Florida. Originally named Hoosier Springs by early settler Ingram Fletcher, the springs were later renamed for its location between the cities of Sanford and Orlando. From the 1930s through 1970, it was a privately owned and operated recreation area and park that was open to the general public for an entrance fee.In 1970, the property was sold for conversion into a private residential development to be known as The Springs.The spring itself is located behind the clubhouse of The Springs, a gated community. Although managed by the St. Johns River Water Management District, it is a private recreation and swimming area for residents of the community and respective guests and is no longer open to the general public.The main swimming area formerly boasted a diving platform over the spring, approximately 6 ft (1.8 m) above the waters' surface until removed by the community board. There is also a floating man-made dock, approximately 40 ft (12.2 m) from the shoreline, to which guests may swim. The waters of the main spring eventually empty into the Wekiva River and from there into the St. Johns River. Sanlando Springs, along with nearby Rock Springs, Wekiwa Springs and Palm Springs, form the headwaters of the Wekiva River.During times of heavy rain, such as the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season, the springs have been known to flood dramatically and certain areas of the spring during these times may be hazardous. Near the main spring are several sulfur springs, which are generally unfit for swimming due to foul odor and possible presence of potentially dangerous wildlife, such as alligators.

Built in 1998, the Orlando Sportsplex (formerly the RDV Sportsplex) is a multi-purpose sports and recreation facility that includes the Genesis Health Club, Genesis Ice Den, and nearly 100,000 square feet of Class A office/medical-use space occupied by tenants located in Orlando, Florida. The 365,000 square foot facility served as one of the most unique and comprehensive multi-purpose health and athletic facilities in the country and was home to the NBA's Orlando Magic practice facility and corporate offices until 2010. RDV Sportsplex was sold on December 13, 2022 to Genesis Health Clubs. Based in Wichita, Genesis Health Clubs came to the Central Florida market in June 2022 with the purchase of RDV sister facilities MVP Athletic Club-Brownwood and MVP Athletic Club-Spanish Springs in The Villages. RDV Sportsplex is now known as Genesis Health Clubs - Orlando Sportsplex and Genesis Ice Den respectively.

The Bradlee-McIntyre House is a Victorian Cottage Style house. It is now located in Longwood, Florida at 130 West Warren Avenue, after being moved there from Altamonte Springs. On March 28, 1991, the house was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.The Bradlee-McIntyre House was built circa 1885 for noted Boston architect Nathaniel Jeremiah Bradlee and family. It is the only surviving "cottage" in Orange and Seminole counties, a Queen Anne Style three-story, 13-room winter vacation house featuring an octagonal tower and "ginger-bread" trim typical of the flamboyant houses of the Victorian Period. Currently the Bradlee-McIntyre House is open to the public for tours on scheduled days as posted at the house. Museum tours are offered the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm.

Tijuana Flats Tex-Mex is a privately-held American restaurant chain serving Tex-Mex cuisine. It has over 135 locations (117 company owned and 18 franchised) throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Indiana. Tijuana Flats restaurants are fast-casual hybrids with fresh food, hot sauce bars, art murals and off-beat culture. Customers order at the front counter and are served after taking a seat. The restaurant was founded in Winter Park, Florida, in 1995 by University of Central Florida graduate Brian Wheeler with US$20,000 in loans. The company had 18 locations before expanding out-of-state in 2004.

Altamonte Springs City Library serves the residents of Altamonte Springs, Florida. As of 1999, there are not any residential requirements necessary to join. The collection boasts 44,000 items, including periodicals, books, online databases, and Altamonte Springs history archives. The library has a separate children's library which offers programs such as story time and other creative events for children. Altamonte Springs City Library has a reputation for being a friendly service-orientated community library. Former director Richard Miller states a library “is the only education institution that caters entirely to personal need… You come in with a question-any question you want- and we will try to provide the answer for you.”

Lake Brantley High School (LBHS) is located in Altamonte Springs, Florida, a suburban community approximately 13 miles (20 km) north of Orlando. It is a public high school serving grade levels 9–12 in Seminole County, FL, operated by Seminole County Public Schools. The school, which opened in 1972, is ranked 79th on Newsweek magazine's 2005 list of the top 100 high schools in the United States and 424th in the 2009 Newsweek list.

Sonny's BBQ is a barbecue restaurant chain founded by Floyd "Sonny" Tillman in Gainesville, Florida in 1968. Bob Yarmuth purchased the company in 1991 and continues as the company's owner and CEO today. Sonny's BBQ now has 113 restaurants across eight Southeastern states and is headquartered in Maitland, Florida. The restaurant specializes in Southern-style BBQ.

Altamonte Springs station is a train station in Altamonte Springs, Florida, serving SunRail, the commuter rail service of Central Florida. The station opened May 1, 2014, and marks the return of passenger rail service in Altamonte Springs since the days of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It is the southernmost SunRail station in Seminole County, Florida. Altamonte Springs is typical of most SunRail stations featuring canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs and includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, and separate platforms designed for passengers in wheelchairs. The station is located along the former CSX A-Line (originally constructed by the South Florida Railroad) on the northeast corner of County Road 427 and State Road 436. The east side of the station is flanked by a local road named "Station Street", evidently named for the former ACL station, and the parking lot contains entrances both at CR 427 and at Leonard Street. A transit-oriented development called City Park at Merritt Street, which will feature a three-story, 102-unit affordable housing community consisting of townhomes atop flats, is currently planned to be constructed adjacent to the station.

Maitland station is a train station in Maitland, Florida, served by SunRail, the commuter rail service of Central Florida. The station opened May 1, 2014, and marks the return of passenger rail service in Maitland since the days of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It is the northernmost SunRail station in Orange County, Florida. Maitland is typical of most SunRail stations featuring canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs and includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, and separate platforms designed for passengers in wheelchairs. The station is located along the former CSX A-Line (originally constructed by the South Florida Railroad) along the west side of US 17/92 just south of the SR 414 interchange. A transit-oriented development called The Parker at Maitland Station is located adjacent to the station and features a five-story, 293-unit luxury apartment community.Because the station currently averages the lowest ridership on the entire SunRail system with only 200 passengers a day, the City of Maitland constructed a pedestrian boardwalk that connects the station to the Greenwood Gardens neighborhood, which is located directly behind the station, in an effort to help boost ridership. Additionally, the city plans for the construction of a parking garage to be built at the station. Despite the current low ridership numbers in and out of the station, city officials believe there will be a need for the garage in the future. Plans call for the garage to be built sometime during the 2019 fiscal year. The city is not looking to pay for the construction of the garage, but rather, fund it using federal or state grant money.

Forest Lake Academy is a private high school outside Orlando, Florida. It is owned and operated by the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second-largest Christian school system.
