WDYZ (660 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Altamonte Springs, Florida, and serving Greater Orlando. The station is owned by JVC Media and airs a sports radio format. The studios and offices are in Maitland, Florida. WDYZ's transmitter is off Charles Street in Longwood. The station uses a three-tower array. It transmits with 3,500 watts by day, but because AM 660 is a clear channel frequency reserved for WFAN in New York City, WDYZ must reduce power to 1,000 watts at night. The station uses a directional antenna at all times.

The Longwood Hotel (also known as the St. George Hotel or Orange and Black or Longwood Village Inn) is a historic building in Longwood, Florida. It was located on Old Dixie Highway but is now located at 300 North Ronald Reagan Boulevard. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on May 10, 1984. The Longwood Hotel was built in 1885.

Longwood station is a train station in Longwood, Florida, served by SunRail, the commuter train of Central Florida. The station opened May 1, 2014, and marks a return of passenger rail service in Longwood dating back to the community's days as a junction of the South Florida Railroad, Orange Belt Railway and old Florida Midland Railway, all of which were acquired by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. Unlike most SunRail stations, which feature canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs, Longwood's canopies have traditional brown gabled roofs with cupolas and faux dormer windows. It also includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, separate platforms designed for passengers in wheelchairs. The station is located along the former CSX A-Line (originally constructed by the South Florida Railroad) northeast of the Longwood Historic District on the north side of East Church Avenue. A transit-oriented development called Weston Park was built adjacent to the station, which features a 208-unit, four story luxury apartment community.

The Casselberry Art House is an art gallery and classroom facility located in Casselberry, Florida. Adjacent to Lake Concord Park, the Art House is a 2500 square foot facility that offers monthly art exhibitions, daily art classes and educational programs, workshops, artist lectures and demonstrations, and musical performances for all ages. The City of Casselberry acquired the building that would become the Art House in 2000. Formerly a mid-century private residence fallen into a dilapidated state, local artists, community sponsors, and the city renovated the building and the Art House opened up as an experimental art gallery to the public in 2003.Along with quarterly art exhibits in Casselberry City Hall, and the sculpture garden in Lake Concord Park, the Art House is cited by Casselberry city leaders as integral to Casselberry’s recent makeover as a municipality friendly to the arts. The Art House serves as center to the City's annual iLLuminart sculpture event, which features temporary illuminated light installations around the Art House and Lake Concord Park.The Orlando Sentinel and Orlando Weekly named the Art House one of the 101 things to love about Central Florida, and one of the best ways to experience Orlando's vibrant arts scene, respectively. Artist Marla E, 2016 Seminole County Artist of the Year, debuted “The Urban Plaster Experience” at the Art House while an instructor.The Art House is also home to the Florida Sculptors Guild and the Central Florida Artist’s Way, which is based on the book The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.

Altamonte Springs station is a train station in Altamonte Springs, Florida, serving SunRail, the commuter rail service of Central Florida. The station opened May 1, 2014, and marks the return of passenger rail service in Altamonte Springs since the days of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It is the southernmost SunRail station in Seminole County, Florida. Altamonte Springs is typical of most SunRail stations featuring canopies consisting of white aluminum poles supporting sloped green roofs and includes ticket vending machines, ticket validators, emergency call boxes, drinking fountains, and separate platforms designed for passengers in wheelchairs. The station is located along the former CSX A-Line (originally constructed by the South Florida Railroad) on the northeast corner of County Road 427 and State Road 436. The east side of the station is flanked by a local road named "Station Street", evidently named for the former ACL station, and the parking lot contains entrances both at CR 427 and at Leonard Street. A transit-oriented development called City Park at Merritt Street, which will feature a three-story, 102-unit affordable housing community consisting of townhomes atop flats, is currently planned to be constructed adjacent to the station.

The Bradlee-McIntyre House is a Victorian Cottage Style house. It is now located in Longwood, Florida at 130 West Warren Avenue, after being moved there from Altamonte Springs. On March 28, 1991, the house was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.The Bradlee-McIntyre House was built circa 1885 for noted Boston architect Nathaniel Jeremiah Bradlee and family. It is the only surviving "cottage" in Orange and Seminole counties, a Queen Anne Style three-story, 13-room winter vacation house featuring an octagonal tower and "ginger-bread" trim typical of the flamboyant houses of the Victorian Period. Currently the Bradlee-McIntyre House is open to the public for tours on scheduled days as posted at the house. Museum tours are offered the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm.

Altamonte Springs City Library serves the residents of Altamonte Springs, Florida. As of 1999, there are not any residential requirements necessary to join. The collection boasts 44,000 items, including periodicals, books, online databases, and Altamonte Springs history archives. The library has a separate children's library which offers programs such as story time and other creative events for children. Altamonte Springs City Library has a reputation for being a friendly service-orientated community library. Former director Richard Miller states a library “is the only education institution that caters entirely to personal need… You come in with a question-any question you want- and we will try to provide the answer for you.”

Lady Liberty is a bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) located in Big Tree Park in Longwood, Florida. The tree is over 2,000 years old and stands 40 feet (12 m) from the former site of The Senator, a 3,500-year-old Bald Cypress that burned down on January 16, 2012. With the Senator's demise, Big Tree Park has taken greater notice of its last remaining giant and has taken steps to ensure its preservation.
