The Music and Theater Folk High School (Danish: Musik og Teaterhøjskolen) was a Danish folk high school in Toftlund , Denmark, which specialized in the performing arts. Like many folk high schools today, it prepared many young people (from 18 years of age) for higher education in the performing arts, while maintaining the folk high school tradition of having no requirements for entrance or graduation exams.

Toftlund (German: Toftlund) is a town in South Jutland with a population of 3,276 (1. January 2023). It is a part of Tønder Municipality and Region of Southern Denmark. It is located on the southern edge of Toftlund Till Deposit (Danish: Toftlund bakkeø) in the center of South Jutland. It lies 35 km northeast of Tønder and 30 km northwest of Aabenraa. The town has an active network of various institutions, including a municipal school, a church, a sports complex with outdoor swimming pool, golf course, a private school, boarding school, a folk high school specializing in music and theater (The Music and Theater Folk High School), a public library, a movie theater, as well as a variety of shops and food options. A performance hall designed by Carsten Hoff and Susanne Ussing is attached to the folk high school and is host to various cultural activities, including jazz concerts, comedy acts, theatrical plays and talks. It is also host to the annual Toftlund Lydfest, a one-day festival for improvised music.

Agerskov (German: Aggerschau) is a town located in central Southern Jutland in Denmark with a population of 1,209 (1. January 2023). The town is located 9 km from Toftlund, 15 km from Løgumkloster and 16 km from Rødekro. The town is a part of Tønder Municipality, Region Syddanmark.

Løgumkloster (German: Lügumkloster; both mean 'Løgum monastery'), is a town in Tønder Municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark with a population of 3,419 (1 January 2023). Its name testifies that the town was once the site of the Cistercian Løgum Abbey, in the then Roman Catholic diocese of Ribe. Løgumkloster was the municipal seat of the now abolished Løgumkloster Municipality.

Løgumkloster Municipality named for the town Løgumkloster, existed until 1 January 2007, covering an area of 200 km2 and with a total population of 6,846 (2005). Its last mayor was Kaj Armann, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The municipality was created in 1970 as the result of a kommunalreform ("Municipality Reform") that combined a number of existing parishes: Bedsted Parish Højst Parish Løgumkloster Parish Nørre Løgum Parish.Løgumkloster Municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Bredebro, Højer, Nørre-Rangstrup, Skærbæk, and Tønder municipalities to form an enlarged Tønder municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 1,352 km2 and a total population of 42,645 (2005).

Løgum Abbey (Danish: Løgum kloster; German: Kloster Lügum) was a Cistercian monastery in the present town of Løgumkloster in North Schleswig, Denmark. In 1548, the monastery was closed down. The site is now occupied by Løgumkloster Church.

The Renbæk Prison is an open prison in Denmark located in Renbæk, 10 km. east of Skaerbaek. The site originally housed a camp for young unemployed people in 1943 but was temporarily taken over by the Prison and Probation Service to house inmates from the open government work house program. The prison was taken over by the German occupiers, and in 1946 it was converted into a real state prison. During the 1960s, the majority of its present buildings were built on the site. Of the prisons 160 seats only 14 is in double cells. Prison offers a range of courses, particularly in agriculture and forestry.
