The Museum of Modern Art, Saitama (埼玉県立近代美術館, Saitama Kenritsu Kindai Bijutsukan) is a museum in Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It is one of Japan's many museums which are supported by a prefecture.

Urawa (浦和市, Urawa-shi) was a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. On May 1, 2001, Urawa was merged with the cities of Ōmiya and Yono to create the city of Saitama. Since April 1, 2003, the area of former Urawa City has been divided into 4 wards: Urawa-ku, Midori-ku, Minami-ku and Sakura-ku of Saitama City. The city hall and the prefectural government building are located in Urawa-ku.

Urawa-ku is the governmental center of Saitama City and houses most of the city's administrative offices including the city hall, as well as the offices of Saitama Prefectural government. As of 1 February 2021, the city had an estimated population of 1,324,854, and a population density of 6,093 people per km² (15,781 people per mi²). Its total area is 217.43 square kilometres (83.95 sq mi).

Urawa-shuku (浦和宿, Urawa-shuku) was the third of the sixty-nine stations of the Nakasendō. It is located in Urawa-ku in the present-day city of Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Its stone ruins can be found 300 meters from Tsuki Shrine (調神社 Tsuki Jinja). Presently, there is a flea market that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every month in Urawa-shuku's Tsuki Shrine.

The Cathedral of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus (Japanese: 幼いイエスの聖テレジア司教座聖堂), also called the Urawa Church, is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church in Urawa, Saitama prefecture, Japan. It is seat of the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saitama. (Dioecesis Saitamaensis; カトリックさいたま教区) Founded in 1940, it is dedicated to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, a French Discalced Carmelite canonized in 1925 and proclaimed a Doctor of the Church in 1997 by Pope John Paul II. It was elevated to cathedral status in 1957 upon the erection of the Diocese of Saitama, by the papal bull "Qui superna Dei" of Pope Pius XII.

Saitama Prefectural Urawa Nishi High School (埼玉県立浦和西高等学校, Saitama Kenritsu Urawanishi Kōtō Gakkō), often shortened to Nishikō (西高) is a public high school in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the few public schools in the prefecture that does not have a school uniform. Until the 1970s, the school enjoyed prestigious position after Urawa High School and Urawa Ichijo High School. During the 80s and 90s, it was known as one of the best public schools and sent its alumni to the best universities in Japan, such as Tokyo University. Many applicants to the school are attracted by the no-school-uniform policy and by the liberal atmosphere that encourages students' independence.
