Sava Bohinjka

The Sava Dolinka is a headwater of the Sava River in northwestern Slovenia. The 45 kilometres (28 mi) long Sava Dolinka starts as Nadiža Creek in the Planica Valley under Mount Zadnja Ponca in the Julian Alps, at an elevation of 1222 m, close to the Italian border. The stream goes underground soon after its source and breaks out again after 5 km at an elevation of 842 m in Zelenci, near Kranjska Gora. The Sava Dolinka flows through Kranjska Gora, Gozd Martuljek, Jesenice, between Bled and Breg, and past the town of Lesce. The first in a series of hydroelectric power plants on the river, the Moste Hydro Power Plant (22.5 MW), is located near Žirovnica. It merges with the second major headwater of the Sava, the Sava Bohinjka, at Radovljica. Tributaries of the Sava Dolinka include the Triglav Bistrica at Mojstrana and the Radovna, which flows through the Vintgar Gorge near Bled.

Šobec Campground is a campsite located 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) south of Highway E61 near Lesce, Slovenia. The campsite lies next to Šobec Pond (Slovene: Šobčev bajer), a small artificial lake created by impounding a few inflows below the upper river terrace, where the southern part of Lesce is located. The elevation of the pond is 421 meters (1,381 ft). Its area is 2.6 hectares (6.4 acres), and its deepest point is 3 meters (9.8 ft) The pond is elliptical, with its major axis extending in a north–south direction. The pond was named after the Šobec farm, which stands nearby.The campsite near the pond is in a pine forest next to the Sava Dolinka River. With an area of more than 15 hectares (37 acres), it is a higher-quality campsite. During the winter the campsite is closed, but it is nevertheless regularly visited by people from all over Europe because it is a popular starting point for hiking around the Upper Carniola region.

Lancovo (pronounced [ˈlaːntsɔʋɔ]) is a settlement on the right bank of the Sava River, opposite Radovljica in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia.

Lesce (pronounced [lɛˈstsɛ]) is a town in the Municipality of Radovljica in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It is an industrial and tourist centre. It is one of the earliest-mentioned settlements in the region, first noted in a document from 1004 together with Bled and Bohinj. Lesce is the location of the Lesce–Bled Airfield and Šobec Campground. Lesce is also the home town of retired ski jumpers Vinko Bogataj and Franci Petek. Lesce was selected by MTV as the site for its annual Spring Break Jam in the spring of 2009.

Lesce-Bled railway station (Slovene: Železniška postaja Lesce Bled) is a railway station in the town of Lesce in the Upper Carniola region of northwestern Slovenia. It also serves the nearby town of Bled about 4 km away. It is operated by Slovenian Railways (SŽ).

Lipnica Castle (Slovene: Lipniški grad, German: Waldenberg), also known as Deserted Castle above the Lipnica (Pusti grad nad Lipnico), is a castle ruin near the settlement of Zgornja Lipnica in Upper Carniola (northwestern Slovenia), above Lipnica Creek, in the Municipality of Radovljica.

Lesce-Bled Airport (ICAO: LJBL) (Slovene: Letališče Lesce) is located in Lesce, in the northwest part of Slovenia, only a few "air" kilometers between airports in Slovenia and Austria. Road connections with Austria and Italy are possible via the A2 motorway. The operator of the airport is the Public Commercial Institution ALC Lesce-Bled, established by the nearby municipality of Radovljica. Permanent users of the airport include Aeroclub ALC Lesce-Bled, Flycom, Flight Academy and others. The Bled area is a popular tourist location, in large part due to scenic lake Bled.
