The Place Rouppe (French) or Rouppeplein (Dutch) is a square in Brussels, Belgium. It is named in honour of Nicolas-Jean Rouppe (1768–1838), the first mayor of the City of Brussels following the Belgian Revolution of 1830. Rectangular and symmetrical in shape, it is located in the Midi–Lemonnier or Stalingrad Quarter (southern part of the City of Brussels), between the Rue du Midi/Zuidstraat and the Avenue de Stalingrad/Stalingradlaan.

The Anneessens premetro station is an underground tram station in the municipality of the City of Brussels in the city center of Brussels, Belgium. The station is located under the Anneessens square along the Maurice Lemonnier boulevard. It is on the North-South Axis, a tram tunnel crossing the city center from the Brussels-North railway station to the Albert premetro station. Tram routes 3 and 4, as well as evening routes 31, 32 and 33 stop at this station.

The Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts - École supérieure des Arts de la Ville de Bruxelles (ARBA-ESA), in Dutch Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten van Brussel, is an art school, established in Brussels, Belgium. It was founded in 1711. Starting from modest beginnings in a single room in the Brussels Town Hall, it has since 1876 been operating from a former convent and orphanage in the Rue du Midi / Zuidstraat, which was converted by the architect Pierre-Victor Jamaer. The school has played an important role in training important local artists.

The Place Anneessens (French) or Anneessensplein (Dutch) is a square in Brussels, Belgium. It is named in honour of François Anneessens, dean of the Nation of St. Christopher (one of the Guilds of Brussels), who was beheaded on the Grand Place (Brussels' main square) during a period of uprisings within the Austrian Netherlands.The square is located halfway down the Boulevard Maurice Lemonnier/Maurice Lemonnierlaan, in the Midi–Lemonnier or Stalingrad Quarter (southern part of the City of Brussels). It is served by the premetro (underground tram) station Anneessens on lines 3 and 4.

The Archives of the City of Brussels (French: Archives de la Ville de Bruxelles, Dutch: Archief van de Stad Brussel) preserves documents related to the City of Brussels (Belgium) and its history. It holds the third largest collection of newspapers and periodicals in Belgium. The public can access its collections through its online catalog, visiting the archive itself, or visiting a museum exhibiting loaned items.

Brussels-Chapel (French: Gare de Bruxelles-Chapelle, Dutch: Station Brussel-Kapellekerk) is a railway station on the North-South connection in the city of Brussels, Belgium. Despite its city centre location and the busy passing railway line, few trains stop here nowadays. It was opened in 1952, following construction of the North-South connection, between the stations of Brussels-Central and Brussels-South. It is situated in the Marollen district, and takes its name from the neighbouring Chapel Church. Also immediately opposite the station is St John Berchmans College. It is served by some trains of the S1 line of the Brussels Regional Express Network. During the week, one train an hour stops in each direction. There is no service at all later in the evenings or at weekends. The stopping trains generally use platforms 5 and 6, the easternmost pair of tracks.

The Place Fontainas (French) or Fontainasplein (Dutch) is a square in Brussels, Belgium. It was created following the covering of the river Senne (1867–1871). It is named in honour of André-Napoléon Fontainas (1807–1863), a former mayor of the City of Brussels. The square lies at the conjunction of the Boulevard Anspach/Anspachlaan to the north with the Boulevard Maurice Lemonnier/Maurice Lemonnierlaan to the south, in the Midi–Lemonnier or Stalingrad Quarter (southern part of the City of Brussels). It is served by the premetro (underground tram) station Anneessens on lines 3 and 4.

St John Berchmans College (Dutch: Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege) is a Roman Catholic secondary school founded by the Society of Jesus in Brussels. It is situated close to Chapel Church and is named after John Berchmans.

Manneken Pis (Dutch: [ˌmɑnəkə(m) ˈpɪs] (listen); Dutch for 'Little Pissing Man') is a landmark 61 cm (24 in) bronze fountain sculpture in central Brussels, Belgium, depicting a puer mingens or naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin. It was designed by the Brabantine sculptor Jérôme Duquesnoy the Elder and put in place in 1618 or 1619. The current statue is a replica which dates from 1965. The original is kept in the Brussels City Museum. Manneken Pis is one of the best-known symbols of Brussels and Belgium. It is also an example of belgitude (French; lit. 'Belgianness'), as well as of folk humour (zwanze) popular in Brussels.Manneken Pis is an approximate five minutes' walk from the Grand Place (Brussels' main square), at the junction of the Rue du Chêne/Eikstraat and the pedestrian Rue de l'Étuve/Stoofstraat. This site is served by the premetro (underground tram) station Bourse/Beurs (on lines 3 and 4), as well as the bus stops Grand Place/Grote Markt (on line 95) and Cesar de Paepe (on lines 33 and 48).

Het Goudblommeke in Papier (Dutch; "The Paper Marigold") or La Fleur en Papier doré (French; "The Gilt-Paper Flower") is a historic café/brasserie located at 53–55, rue des Alexiens/Cellebroersstraat in Brussels, Belgium. Established in 1944, it is the oldest establishment of its kind still in operation in the City of Brussels, and the second oldest in the Brussels-Capital Region. It is known in particular for having been an important venue in Brussels' cultural life, acting as a hub for surrealist artists and the CoBrA movement.

The Church of Our Lady of the Chapel (French: Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Chapelle, Dutch: Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-ter-Kapellekerk), or the Chapel Church (French: Église de la Chapelle, Dutch: Kapellekerk), is a Roman Catholic church located on the Place de la Chapelle/Kapelleplein in the Marolles/Marollen district of Brussels, Belgium. This site is served by Brussels-Chapel railway station.

The Lemonnier premetro station is an underground tram station in the City of Brussels, Brussels, Belgium. It is located near the crossroad between the Maurice Lemonnier boulevard and the small ring road. It is part of the North–South Axis tunnel which crosses the city center from the Brussels-North railway station to the Albert premetro station. Additional tunnel exits exist at the Brussels-South railway station as well as at the Lemonnier premetro station, allowing trams to leave or enter the tunnel at those points. Currently, tram routes 51 and 82 enter the tunnel at Lemonnier toward the South. Tram routes 3 and 4 as well as evening routes 31, and 32 also stop at Lemonnier. The station is decorated with paintings by Hamsi Boubeker. On a lower floor there is unused second station with two platforms. In the tunnel between Annessens and Lemonnier there is a tunnel towards this station.
