Brussels-Chapel (French: Gare de Bruxelles-Chapelle, Dutch: Station Brussel-Kapellekerk) is a railway station on the North-South connection in the city of Brussels, Belgium. Despite its city centre location and the busy passing railway line, few trains stop here nowadays. It was opened in 1952, following construction of the North-South connection, between the stations of Brussels-Central and Brussels-South. It is situated in the Marollen district, and takes its name from the neighbouring Chapel Church. Also immediately opposite the station is St John Berchmans College. It is served by some trains of the S1 line of the Brussels Regional Express Network. During the week, one train an hour stops in each direction. There is no service at all later in the evenings or at weekends. The stopping trains generally use platforms 5 and 6, the easternmost pair of tracks.

Het Goudblommeke in Papier (Dutch; "The Paper Marigold") or La Fleur en Papier doré (French; "The Gilt-Paper Flower") is a historic café/brasserie located at 53–55, rue des Alexiens/Cellebroersstraat in Brussels, Belgium. This site is served by Brussels-Chapel railway station.

The Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts - École supérieure des Arts de la Ville de Bruxelles (ARBA-ESA), in Dutch Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten van Brussel, is an art school, established in Brussels, Belgium. It was founded in 1711. Starting from modest beginnings in a single room in the Brussels Town Hall, it has since 1876 been operating from a former convent and orphanage in the Rue du Midi / Zuidstraat, which was converted by the architect Pierre-Victor Jamaer. The school has played an important role in training important local artists.

Manneken Pis (Dutch: [ˌmɑnəkə(m) ˈpɪs] (listen); Dutch for 'Little Pissing Man') is a landmark 61 cm (24 in) bronze fountain sculpture in central Brussels, Belgium, depicting a puer mingens or naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin. It was designed by the Brabantine sculptor Jérôme Duquesnoy the Elder and put in place in 1618 or 1619. The current statue is a replica which dates from 1965. The original is kept in the Brussels City Museum. Manneken Pis is one of the best-known symbols of Brussels and Belgium. It is also an example of belgitude (French; lit. 'Belgianness'), as well as of folk humour (zwanze) popular in Brussels.Manneken Pis is an approximate five minutes' walk from the Grand Place (Brussels' main square), at the junction of the Rue du Chêne/Eikstraat and the pedestrian Rue de l'Étuve/Stoofstraat. This site is served by the premetro (underground tram) station Bourse/Beurs (on lines 3 and 4), as well as the bus stops Grand Place/Grote Markt (on line 95) and Cesar de Paepe (on lines 33 and 48).

The Maison du Peuple (French) or Volkshuis (Dutch), both literally the "House of the People", was a public building located on the Place Emile Vandervelde/Emile Vanderveldeplein, in the Sablon/Zavel district of Brussels, Belgium. It was one of the most influential Art Nouveau buildings in Belgium and one of the most notable designs by the architect Victor Horta. Commissioned by the Belgian Workers' Party (POB/BWP), it was constructed between 1896 and 1899, and opened on 2 April 1899.The building was demolished in 1965, and a skyscraper, the Blaton Tower, was built on its site. Its demolition has been regarded as an "architectural crime" and an example of Brusselisation.

It holds the third largest collection of newspapers and periodicals in Belgium. The public can access its collections through its online catalog, visiting the archive itself, or visiting a museum exhibiting loaned items.

Comme Chez Soi is a restaurant in Brussels, Belgium. The chef is Lionel Rigolet, Gault Millau's Belgian Chef of the Year 2007.For 27 years (as of 1979), it was rated with 3 stars by the Michelin Red Guide. In 2006 it was downgraded to two stars after chef and owner Pierre Wynants announced he would step down in favour of his son-in-law Rigolet. The restaurant was founded in 1926 by Georges Cuvelier, originally a coal miner from the Belgian Borinage region. In the 1930s, it moved to its present location, an art nouveau house at Place Rouppe in Brussels, where it obtained its first Michelin star in 1953.

The Brussels Parliament building is a neoclassical building located on Rue du Lombard/Lombardstraat in Brussels (Belgium) housing the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region. It largely dates from the early 20th century, although some wings date back to the 17th century and certain later renovations.

L'Envol (The Flight) is a bronze statue of Belgian singer Jacques Brel, sculpted by Tom Frantzen. It was inaugurated at Oud Korenhuis/the Place de la Vieille Halle aux Blés in Brussels on 11 October 2017.

The Place Rouppe (French) or Rouppeplein (Dutch) is a square in Brussels, Belgium. It is named in honour of Nicolas-Jean Rouppe (1768–1838), the first mayor of the City of Brussels following the Belgian Revolution of 1830. Rectangular and symmetrical in shape, it is located in the Midi–Lemonnier or Stalingrad Quarter (southern part of the City of Brussels), between the Rue du Midi/Zuidstraat and the Avenue de Stalingrad/Stalingradlaan.
