The Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan is the official representative of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan.

Rudaki Avenue (Tajik: хиёбони Рӯдакӣ, Russian: проспект Рудаки) is the main thoroughfare street in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. The street is named after Rudaki, the Tajik national poet. The street was known as Lenin Avenue during the Soviet period, and used to host a statue of Vladimir Lenin. The street received its current name in the summer of 1992.Key administrative buildings and cultural institutions are located on the street.

Tajik State Pedagogical University (Russian: Таджикский государственный педагогический университет имени С. Айни; Tajik: Донишгоҳи давлатии омӯзгории Тоҷикистон ба номи С. Айнӣ) is a university in Tajikistan. It is located in Dushanbe at 121 Rudaki Street.

The Dushanbe Stadium is a football stadium currently under construction in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, which was planned to be opened in 2021. The venue will have a capacity of 30,000 spectators.

Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (Tajik: Донишгоҳи давлатии тиббии Тоҷикистон; Russian: Таджикский государственный медицинский университет) or ATSMU is a public university in Tajikistan. Established in 1939, it is located in Dushanbe and named after the Persian polymath Abuali Ibni Sino (also spelled Avicenna). It is managed by the Ministry of Health and is the only higher medical education facility in Tajikistan preparing medical personnel for the country.

The Somon Palace (Tajik: Кохи Сомон), also known as the Palace of the Samanids is a building in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. It is named after named after the Samanid Empire of the 9th-11th centuries. The palace is used for is a place of high-level meetings of the state. It also serves as the residence of the Government of Tajikistan.

The Dushanbe Flagpole (Russian: Площадь государственного флага; Tajik: Боғи парчами Тоҷикистон, romanized: Boghi parchami Tojikiston) is a free–standing flagpole located in front of the Palace of Nations in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. At 165 metres (541 feet), it was the tallest flagpole in the world from its completion in 2011 until the 2014 erection of the 171 m (561 ft) Jeddah Flagpole. It is now the fourth tallest flagpole in the world. It flies a 30 m × 60 m (98 ft × 197 ft) Flag of Tajikistan weighing 700 kilograms (1,540 pounds).

The Gurminj Museum of Musical Instruments (Russian: Музей музыкальных инструментов имени Гурминджа Завкибекова; Tajik: Осорхонаи асбобҳои мусиқии ба номи Гурминҷ Завқибеков) ( or Gurminj Museum (Russian: Музей Гурминджа)) is a museum located in the center of Dushanbe, Tajikistan, behind the Office of the Mayor on Bokhtar Street.

Dushanbe Zoo or Dushanbe Zoological Park (Russian: Душанбинский зоопарк; Tajik: Боғи Ҳайвоноти Душанбе, romanized: Boği Hayvonoti Dushanbe) was founded in 1960 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The zoo is located in the center of the city on the Luchob river bank (on Ismoili Somoni Avenue), next to the Pamir Stadium, and measures roughly twice the size of the stadium.

The Iranian ambassador in Dushanbe is the official representative of the Government in Tehran to the Government of Tajikistan.

The Palace of the Nation (Tajik: Қасри Миллат, romanized: Qasri Millat; Russian: Дворец Нации) is the official residence of the President of Tajikistan. It is located on Shirinshoh Shohtemur Street in central Dushanbe. The Presidential Palace is surrounded by Dushanbe Flagpole to the north, Rudaki Park to the east, Independence Monument to the south and Varzob River to the west.

Dousti Square (Tajik: Mайдони Дӯстӣ, lit. 'Friendship Square'; Russian: Площадь Дусти) is a square in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. It is connected to Rudaki Avenue and Hofizi Sherozi Avenue. It is the largest in Dushanbe.
