The Avedis Zildjian Company, simply known as Zildjian (), is a musical instrument manufacturer specializing in cymbals and other percussion instruments. Founded by the ethnic Armenian Zildjian family in the 17th-century Ottoman Empire, the company relocated to the United States in the 20th century. Today, it is the largest cymbal and drumstick maker in the world. The company was founded in Istanbul in 1623 by Avedis Zildjian, an Armenian. Zildjian is now based in Norwell, Massachusetts. Zildjian is the oldest manufacturer of musical instruments in the world as well as one of the oldest continuously operating companies in the world. Zildjian sells cymbals, drumsticks, percussion mallets and other drum accessories under the Zildjian, Vic Firth and Balter Mallet brands.

Hanover High School is a public school located in Hanover, Massachusetts, United States. It encompasses grades 9–12. Hanover High is a continuation for Hanover Middle School, and before that either Center School or Cedar School. The original Hanover High School building was opened in 1958. The first graduating class was 1959. Sylvester School formerly served as the high school. The current Hanover High School building was opened in 2011.Hanover's colors are blue and gold, and their mascot is the Hawks. Until 2021, HHS's mascot was the Indians, and was changed to the Hawks, thanks to a contest that won against 400 submissions. After another contest, the name "Sylvester" was chosen to be the name of the Hanover Hawk mascot. The name Sylvester goes back to Edmund Q. Sylvester, a prominent resident of Hanover during the later half of the 1800s. The Sylvester family owned land around the old Hanover shipyards, and had their own farm as well. The Thomas Chubbuck Jr. House is a historic house in Hingham, Massachusetts. Built in 1778, it is the best-preserved three-quarter Cape style house in the town, and is further noted for its long association with locally important Chubbuck and Gardner families. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Wompatuck State Park is a state-owned, public recreation area of about 3,500 acres (1,400 ha) in size located primarily in the town of Hingham with portions in the neighboring towns of Cohasset, Norwell, and Scituate, Massachusetts, in the United States. In addition to a large campground and an extensive trail system, the park is noted for the free spring water that can be obtained at Mt. Blue Spring, which has been in operation since the mid-19th century. The park is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation which protects forests of the northeastern coastal forests ecoregion.

Accord Pond (pronounced Ah-cord with a long A) is a 100-acre (0.40 km2) reservoir in Hingham, Norwell and Rockland, Massachusetts. The reservoir is located off Route 228 at its terminus with Route 3. The reservoir is visible from Route 3 northbound at Exit 14, the Route 228 off-ramp. The reservoir is a Class A source of water supply for the town of Hingham and Hull Ma. The outflow of the reservoir is Accord Brook, a tributary of the Weir River. Accord, a village in Hingham on the Hingham/Norwell town line, lies on the northeastern shore of the reservoir along Route 53.

The Hanover Center Historic District encompasses the historic town center of Hanover, Massachusetts. Established in 1721, the town center includes the town hall, library, and church, as well as its first cemetery and the c. 1700 Stetson House, one of its oldest buildings. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Stetson House is a historic house at Hanover Street in Hanover, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story frame house was built c. 1694 by Samuel "Drummer" Stetson and was occupied by the Stetson family until at least the 1860s. During the 19th century the family opened the house for religious services after the church burned down.

Aaron River Reservoir is a 136-acre (0.55 km2) reservoir mostly in Cohasset, Massachusetts, with small stretches extending into Hingham and Scituate. The outflow of the pond is Aaron River. Most of the reservoir is in the eastern side of Wompatuck State Park. The village of Beechwood lies to the east of the reservoir. The reservoir is a Class A water supply source used as a backup source for the Town of Cohasset. The water quality is impaired due to mercury contamination, although the source of the mercury is unknown.
