Bellevue is a hamlet in the town of Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York, United States.

Buffalo–Depew station is an Amtrak train station in Depew, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. It was built in 1979 to replace the Buffalo Central Terminal as Buffalo's main Amtrak station. (Buffalo–Exchange Street station, located near downtown Buffalo, has limited parking space and is located on a line that is not easily accessible by the Lake Shore Limited.) It is located 10 miles (16 km) east of downtown Buffalo. The station was built to a standard design common to most Amtrak stations built from the 1970s to the early 1990s. Standard features at Depew include concrete block walls, floor-to-ceiling windows and a cantilevered black roof.The station is served by eight trains per day: two Empire Service round trips, one Lake Shore Limited round trip, and one Maple Leaf round trip. It has a single side platform adjacent to the southernmost of the four tracks of the Rochester Subdivision. The Lake Shore Subdivision, used by the Lake Shore Limited, diverges to the south between Buffalo–Depew and downtown Buffalo.

The October 2006 Buffalo storm was an unusual early-season lake effect snow storm that hit the Buffalo, New York area and other surrounding areas of the United States and Canada, from the afternoon of Thursday, October 12 through the morning of Friday, October 13, 2006. It was called Lake Storm Aphid by the National Weather Service office in Buffalo, in accordance with their naming scheme for lake-effect snowstorms for that year, which related to insects, though locals never used that terminology and have simply referred to it as the October Surprise or the October Storm or Arborgeddon.

Depew () is a village in Erie County, New York. The population was 15,303 at the time of the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area. The village is named for Chauncey Depew, a politician and one of the original investors who bought the land for the village, which was incorporated in 1894. The village extends across the boundary between the towns of Lancaster and Cheektowaga. The village lies on both sides of NY Route 78 (Transit Road), a major north-south route. Village residents voted on January 17, 2017 to not dissolve the Village of Depew into the Towns of Lancaster and Cheektowaga, by a margin of 3,006–1,165.

Buffalo Airfield (FAA LID: 9G0) is a privately owned, public use airport located six nautical miles (7 mi, 11 km) southeast of the central business district of Buffalo, in Erie County, New York, United States. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a reliever airport.Formerly known as Buffalo Airpark and Gardenville Airport, the airfield is located on the north side of Clinton Street (NY-354) between Union Road (NY-277) and Transit Road (NY-78). It is also about 4 miles (6 km) south of Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The Buffalo Airfield was owned and operated by Robert A. Jacobs from 1986, who purchased it out of bankruptcy (as Buffalo Airpark) and changed the name to Buffalo Airfield. It was previously owned by Anthony "Tony" Riccio (deceased at the time) and purchased out of auction. Jacobs also operated his master plumbing business from this location, Robert Jacobs Plumbing (RJP), established in 1968. He operated an aviation ground school (private and instrument), banner towing company named Rainbow Banner, small airplane maintenance facility, airplane fueling station, and scenic flights with his six small Cessna planes (3-152s & 3-172s) 6538FT/5249D/757MZ. He also hosted several "Fly in Breakfasts" and "Tri-Five Car Shows" at his facility during the 1990s. The aviation mechanic shop for inspections was FAA rated during his operation. Robert Jacobs was successful in securing several grants from the FAA to expand, PTL light and fence the runway. He also financed building several airplane hangars with his construction company, 4500 Clinton Builders. FAA grants were also obtained for equipment to remove snow.

South Cheektowaga is a neighborhood on the West Seneca border near French Road, in the town of Cheektowaga, in Erie County, New York, United States. It is home to the large South Line Fire Company, as well as Stigimeier Park (Losson Park), where nature trails and sports areas are located, the latter of which is used by area leagues, such as South Cheektowaga Baseball Association and the Cheektowaga Recreation Department. Adjacent to the park is located the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, a DEC protected area. The area is mainly residential, with a few larger stores along the main routes.

Cheektowaga () is a town in Erie County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town has grown to a population of 89,877. The town is in the north-central part of the county, and is an inner ring suburb of Buffalo. The town is the second-largest suburb of Buffalo, after the Town of Amherst. The town of Cheektowaga contains the village of Sloan and half of the village of Depew. The remainder, outside the villages, is a census-designated place also named Cheektowaga. The town is home to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Erie County's principal airport.Villa Maria College, Empire State College, and the Walden Galleria are in Cheektowaga.

Depew station was a Lehigh Valley Railroad station in Depew, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. It was the first station east of Niagara Junction, where Lehigh Valley trains left the Buffalo–Jersey City, New Jersey main line for Tonawanda, New York, and thence to Niagara Falls. Passengers heading for Toronto, Ontario would transfer at Depew. The station also handled Canada-bound freight; replacing an interchange operation with the New York Central Railroad at Batavia.Depew was one of several stations in a tight corridor leading the Buffalo: it lay approximately 1⁄4 mile (0.40 km) from the New York Central's station and 1 mile (1.6 km) from the Erie Railroad's station. The station was located on the west side of Transit Road (New York State Route 78), adjacent to the New York Central main line.Service to Depew ended on February 4, 1961, with the end of passenger service on the Lehigh Valley, the final train being the Maple Leaf.

US Post Office—Depew is a historic post office building located at Depew in Erie County, New York. It was designed and built 1938–1939, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features a mural by Anne Poor painted in 1941 and titled "Beginning the Day."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Forks is a hamlet in the town of Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York, United States. surrounded by George Urban Blvd, Dick Rd, Union Rd and Broadway St.Forks is the site of what was once one of the largest coal trestles in the United States, over half a mile long, which was built in the 1880s and burned in the 1920s.The Forks Hotel on Broadway St. was built in 1853 along the new Attica & Buffalo Railroad. The building served variously as a hotel, railroad station, post office and bar. In 1958 it was purchased by local magician Eddie Fechter, who operated it as a venue for magic shows. Fechter died in the late 1970s, and the hotel was sold, but continued to hold magic shows. The building was damaged by fire in 1998 and demolished in 2003.

New Ebenezer is a hamlet in the town of West Seneca in Erie County, New York, United States.

Blossom is a hamlet in the town of Elma in Erie County, New York, United States. It was originally founded by the Ebenezer Society as Upper Ebenezer in 1844. The origin of the present name is not known, but it may have come from the profusion of apple blossoms in the area.
