United States Post Office (Depew, New York)

Depew station was a Lehigh Valley Railroad station in Depew, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. It was the first station east of Niagara Junction, where Lehigh Valley trains left the Buffalo–Jersey City, New Jersey main line for Tonawanda, New York, and thence to Niagara Falls. Passengers heading for Toronto, Ontario would transfer at Depew. The station also handled Canada-bound freight; replacing an interchange operation with the New York Central Railroad at Batavia.Depew was one of several stations in a tight corridor leading the Buffalo: it lay approximately 1⁄4 mile (0.40 km) from the New York Central's station and 1 mile (1.6 km) from the Erie Railroad's station. The station was located on the west side of Transit Road (New York State Route 78), adjacent to the New York Central main line.Service to Depew ended on February 4, 1961, with the end of passenger service on the Lehigh Valley, the final train being the Maple Leaf.

St. Mary's High School is a co-educational, Roman Catholic high school located in Lancaster, New York, 4.5 miles South East of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and 14.5 East of downtown Buffalo. The school is within the Diocese of Buffalo. St. Mary's enrollment includes students in grades 9-12 from four counties and approximately 30 school districts. Depew () is a village in Erie County, New York. The population was 15,303 at the time of the 2010 census. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area. The village is named for Chauncey Depew, a politician and one of the original investors who bought the land for the village, which was incorporated in 1894. The village extends across the boundary between the towns of Lancaster and Cheektowaga. The village lies on both sides of NY Route 78 (Transit Road), a major north-south route. Village residents voted on January 17, 2017 to not dissolve the Village of Depew into the Towns of Lancaster and Cheektowaga, by a margin of 3,006–1,165.

The district includes a variety of residential, commercial, and government buildings built between about 1860 and 1940. It includes notable examples of Italianate and Colonial Revival style architecture. Notable buildings include the Lancaster Town Hall and Opera House (c. 1894, 1976-1978), Former Post Office (c. 1905), Cushing Block (c. 1896), and Potter-Eaton House (c. 1895, moved 1940).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

US Post Office—Lancaster is a historic post office building located at Lancaster in Erie County, New York. It was designed and built 1938–1939, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Colonial Revival style. The interior features a mural by Arthur Getz painted in 1940 and titled "Early Commerce in the Erie Canal Region."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

It includes notable examples of Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Lancaster Municipal Building (1940), Miller-Mackey House (c. 1900), Clark-Lester House (ca. 1891), Bruce-Briggs Brick Block (c. 1855), Lancaster Masonic Lodge Hall (1916-1919), Liebler-Rohl Gasoline Station (c. 1935), Dr. John J. Miller—Mackey House is a historic home located at Lancaster in Erie County, New York. It is a locally distinctive example of the Colonial Revival style of architecture built in 1905 for Dr. John G. Miller. In 1957, the Depew Lancaster Boys' Club purchased the property and since that time has been used as a recreational and social facility for the area's young people.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is located in the Broadway Historic District.

The Clark–Lester House is a historic home located at Lancaster in Erie County, New York. It is a Queen Anne style dwelling constructed about 1891. It was home to noted psychology professor Olive Lester, who lived here for most of her adult life until May 1996. She was the first woman chair of any of the departments at the University at Buffalo. It is now operated as a bed and breakfast. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is located in the Broadway Historic District.

John P. Sommers House is a historic home located at Lancaster in Erie County, New York. It was built in 1906, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, wood-frame Queen Anne style dwelling. It has a hipped roof and center projecting gable. It features a prominent two-story, five-sided corner tower and has a single-story porch across the front facade.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Bruce—Briggs Brick Block is a historic rowhouse block located at Lancaster in Erie County, New York. It is a mid-19th century brick structure unique in Western New York, which incorporates both Greek Revival and Italianate style decorative details. The rowhouses were built for George Bruce, one of the early settlers of Lancaster.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is located in the Broadway Historic District.
