Port Weller Dry Docks

Port Weller, Ontario is a community in St. Catharines, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario, Canada and is part of the Golden Horseshoe region. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of the centre of St. Catharines at the north end of the Welland Canal at Lake Ontario, but part of that city in much the same way as Port Dalhousie. Port Weller is bounded by Lake Ontario (North Boundary), Read Road (East), Linwell Road (South) and Walkers Creek (West Boundary). Port Weller East & West are divided by the Welland Canal. Port Weller West has a significantly higher population than Port Weller East because of industrial and agricultural development on the east side, such as the Welland Canal, Port Weller Dry Docks and local farms.

Grantham is a neighbourhood in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. The community is bordered on the west by Geneva Street, on the east by the Welland Canal, on the north by Parnell Road, and on the south by Scott Street. This neighbourhood is composed of mainly low density residential properties. Grantham can be divided into Grantham East and Grantham West with Niagara Regional Road 48 being the dividing line.

Governor Simcoe Secondary School named after John Graves Simcoe, is a public high school in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is a three-floored school with a theatre attachment. It has an enrollment of about 859 students. Its campus contains a football/soccer/field hockey field and a three-story building. The building includes a full gymnasium with multiple changing rooms with showers, a weight room, an elevator, and a 500-seat auditorium. The school also is fully wheelchair accessible.

Grantham Township is a former incorporated and now geographic township on the Niagara Peninsula in Upper Canada, later Ontario.In 1961, part of it was amalgamated into the city of St. Catharines. In 1970, the remaining portion was amalgamated into the new Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Grantham Township was originally called Township No. 3, while surveying was first taking place from 1787 until 1789. Every lot in this new township was 100 acres in size, for a total of 230 lots. The Butler's Rangers and United Empire Loyalist were some of the first residents; with both groups receiving the land for free.

Facer is a community in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the North East part of the city, bounded by the Queen Elizabeth Way and Welland Avenue to the South, Grantham Avenue to the East, Carlton Street to the North and Niagara Street to the West, with Facer Street being the main access road through the community. Facer is home to a vibrant immigrant community dominated by Polish- and Ukrainian-Canadians, with a sizable minority of Italian-Canadians in the east end of the community near Grantham Avenue. It is one of the few areas outside of the Greater Toronto Area where it is common to see store signs posted in a language other than English, with most stores in the area offering services to customers in their native language. It is classified as an airport of entry by NAV CANADA and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency on a call out basis from the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge. CBSA officers at this airport currently can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.

Michigan Beach is a beach and small community on the south shore of Lake Ontario in St. Catharines, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario, Canada and is part of the Golden Horseshoe region. It is located between Port Dalhousie and Port Weller. Named for the Michigan Central Railroad, which operated a rail line to the east side of the harbour at Port Dalhousie, Michigan Beach is today home to the Port Dalhousie Pier Marina, Westcliffe Park, Pine Grove Public School and a residential neighbourhood developed in the 1960's and 1970's. The Waterfront Trail runs through the neighbourhood.
