Denis Morris provides educational programs and services for students with a variety of learning strengths, needs and abilities. Denis Morris is known well for its many exceptional athletes. In the past the Reds have dominated in Ice Hockey, winning SOSSA for many years in a row, Wrestling, having many athletes reaching the OFSAA championship for the past two years, and Canadian Football, winning numerous championship in the history of the school.

Governor Simcoe Secondary School named after John Graves Simcoe, is a public high school in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is a three-floored school with a theatre attachment. It has an enrollment of about 859 students. Its campus contains a football/soccer/field hockey field and a three-story building. The building includes a full gymnasium with multiple changing rooms with showers, a weight room, an elevator, and a 500-seat auditorium. The school also is fully wheelchair accessible.

Port Weller, Ontario is a community in St. Catharines, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario, Canada and is part of the Golden Horseshoe region. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of the centre of St. Catharines at the north end of the Welland Canal at Lake Ontario, but part of that city in much the same way as Port Dalhousie. Port Weller is bounded by Lake Ontario (North Boundary), Read Road (East), Linwell Road (South) and Walkers Creek (West Boundary). Port Weller East & West are divided by the Welland Canal. Port Weller West has a significantly higher population than Port Weller East because of industrial and agricultural development on the east side, such as the Welland Canal, Port Weller Dry Docks and local farms.

Port Weller Dry Docks was a shipbuilder on the Welland Canal at the Lake Ontario entrance. The shipbuilder was founded in 1946 and the site was initially owned by the Government of Canada for storage purchases. The shipyard expanded to include ship repair, and reconstruction work. In 1956, the drydock was sold to the Upper Lakes Shipping Company, which began the construction of vessels at the site. The shipyard twice went insolvent, most recently in 2015. Port Weller Dry Docks was used to build, refit and repair cargo vessels.

Grantham Township is a former incorporated and now geographic township on the Niagara Peninsula in Upper Canada, later Ontario.In 1961, part of it was amalgamated into the city of St. Catharines. In 1970, the remaining portion was amalgamated into the new Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Grantham Township was originally called Township No. 3, while surveying was first taking place from 1787 until 1789. Every lot in this new township was 100 acres in size, for a total of 230 lots. The Butler's Rangers and United Empire Loyalist were some of the first residents; with both groups receiving the land for free.

Michigan Beach is a beach and small community on the south shore of Lake Ontario in St. Catharines, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario, Canada and is part of the Golden Horseshoe region. It is located between Port Dalhousie and Port Weller. Named for the Michigan Central Railroad, which operated a rail line to the east side of the harbour at Port Dalhousie, Michigan Beach is today home to the Port Dalhousie Pier Marina, Westcliffe Park, Pine Grove Public School and a residential neighbourhood developed in the 1960's and 1970's. The Waterfront Trail runs through the neighbourhood.

Facer is a community in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the North East part of the city, bounded by the Queen Elizabeth Way and Welland Avenue to the South, Grantham Avenue to the East, Carlton Street to the North and Niagara Street to the West, with Facer Street being the main access road through the community. Facer is home to a vibrant immigrant community dominated by Polish- and Ukrainian-Canadians, with a sizable minority of Italian-Canadians in the east end of the community near Grantham Avenue. It is one of the few areas outside of the Greater Toronto Area where it is common to see store signs posted in a language other than English, with most stores in the area offering services to customers in their native language. Facer is home to the Queen Elizabeth Community Centre, St. Joseph's Bakery, the Canadian Polish Society, authentic Italian cafes, credit unions serving the Polish and Ukrainian communities, and a number of churches with bilingual services in a number of different languages.
