Shareshill is a village and civil parish in the South Staffordshire district, in the county of Staffordshire, England. The population as measured in the 2011 census was 759. The parish church is dedicated to St Mary and St Luke, Shareshill.

Gailey Reservoir is a pair of canal feeder reservoirs in South Staffordshire, separated by a dam, and owned by the Canal & River Trust. Gailey Upper Reservoir is to the east; Gailey Lower Reservoir to the west.A connected reservoir, Calf Heath Reservoir, stands a little further to the west, beyond the M6 motorway. Calf Heath Reservoir is also where Greensforge Sailing Club is located. Greensforge Sailing Club is one of the oldest sailing clubs in the Midlands.Gailey Reservoir is the site of a nature reserve, operated by the West Midland Bird Club. Entry is by permit only. There is a large heronry on the island on the lower part. The upper lake fishing is ran by the Prince Albert Angling Society. The lower lake fishing is ran by a syndicate called the Carp Bowl. The reservoir is located at grid reference SJ935103.

Saredon is a civil parish in South Staffordshire district, Staffordshire, England, situated to the north east of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and to the south west of Cannock. Formed from two hamlets, Little and Great Saredon, this parish lies south of the A5 and is bisected by the busy M6. The Saredon Brook, a tributary of the Penk, formerly known as that river's Cannock Heath branch, links the hamlets. This brook provided the energy for two powerful corn mills at Saredon and Deepmore, and was also renowned for the large number of trout it held.There was also a windmill in the middle of Little Saredon, which remained in use until at least 1872, its working life thereafter being slightly prolonged through the use of a portable steam engine to drive the stones. In 1942, the remains of the sails were removed and the tower was converted into a house for the proprietor of Hawkins Tile Works in Cannock. Little Saredon's other noteworthy feature was the disproportionately large number of yew trees that used to grow there. Great Saredon has a Roman tumulus on high ground, a quarter mile distant from, and facing, the A5. The estimated population in 2004 was 739.

Cuttleston or Cuttlestone is a hundred in the county of Staffordshire, England, located in the centre of that county, south of Stafford. Cuttleston was the most thinly populated and the second smallest of the five Hundreds of Staffordshire. In 1871 it had an area of 106,340 acres (43,030 ha) and a population of 35,939. It was bounded on the west by Shropshire, on the south by Seisdon Hundred, on the east by Offlow Hundred, and on the north by Pirehill Hundred. It is about 20 mi (32 km) in length and 12 mi (19 km) in breadth. In the east is Cannock Chase, an extensive heath and former royal forest. The old Forest of Brewood formed the boundary of Seisdon and Cuttleston. The Hundred was separated into the East and West Divisions, under two chief constables. It contains three small market towns: Rugeley, Brewood and Penkridge. In the 19th century it comprised 17 parishes, 2 extra parochial places and 6 chapelries. These were subdivided into 36 townships.The name is derived from the combination of the Old English words Cūþwulf (a personal name) and stān (stone). The origin of the Hundred dates from the division of his kingdom by King Alfred the Great into counties, hundreds and tithings. From the beginning, Staffordshire was divided into the hundreds of Offlow, Pirehill, Totmonslow, Cuttleston and Seisdon.

Four Crosses in South Staffordshire, Staffordshire, England. Is a scattered hamlet located between Cannock and Wolverhampton. As well as Penkridge and Hatherton. The hamlet is a very rural area of Cannock Chase District and is the location of the Four Crosses Inn Pub notable for legends that it is haunted. The hamlet is situated on Watling Street (A5). Four Crosses is also home to the former Chase Park Cricket Club. Which closed in 2019 and has been left derelict since closure.The hamlet appears on OS Maps as Four Crosses.

Cannock Hockey Club are an English field hockey team. They were established in 1905, and are based in the village of Hatherton, near Cannock, Staffordshire. Both the men's and women's first teams play in the England Hockey League Premier Division, the top division of hockey in England. The men's team have been one of the most successful teams in the country in recent years and as of 2008 had won seven national championships in the previous in ten years. They have also provided several international players to England and other national teams. Their home ground, Chase Park (formerly The Morris Ground), has hosted various national and international tournaments, including the EuroHockey Club Champions Cup in 2000 and 2006. It has also hosted England matches, particularly while the National Hockey Stadium was in use by Milton Keynes Dons football team. Chase Park was also used as a pre-games training venue for the 2012 London Olympics.Cannock Cricket Club is also part of the club; their most famous player of recent years was Kevin Pietersen, before he joined Nottinghamshire CCC.

Four Ashes railway station was a railway station built by the Grand Junction Railway in 1837.: 28  It served the small village of Four Ashes, Staffordshire, 6 miles north of Wolverhampton City Centre, and was located near to the A449 road, on Station Drive. It was also the closest station to the villages of Coven and Featherstone as well as the town of Brewood. The station closed in 1959, although the Rugby-Birmingham-Stafford Line loop from the West Coast Main Line still runs through the site of the station today.

Brinsford Lodge was a hall of residence for The Polytechnic, Wolverhampton (now the University of Wolverhampton) from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s. Prior to that it was a Teacher Training College for Malaysian students and, during the Second World War, a hostel for employees at a nearby armaments factory. It was located on the outskirts of the Staffordshire village of Featherstone, about 5 miles north of Wolverhampton.

Four Ashes is a village in the district of South Staffordshire in Staffordshire, England, located about 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Cannock. The village was served by a station on the Rugby-Birmingham-Stafford Line of the Grand Junction Railway. The station closed in 1959 although the railway line still runs past the village. Four Ashes Hall is a 17th-century house in the village. It is open for conferences and weddings and has been in the same family for 350 years. It is still privately owned.
