Augsburg Messe station is a railway station in the town of Augsburg, located in Swabia, Bavaria, Germany.

The University of Augsburg (German: Universität Augsburg) is a university located in the Universitätsviertel section of Augsburg, Germany. It was founded in 1970 and is organized in 8 Faculties. The University of Augsburg is a relatively young campus university with approx. 18,000 students in October 2012. About 14% of its students come from foreign countries, a larger percentage than at comparable German universities.In October 2011 Sabine Doering Manteuffel succeeded Alois Loidl as rector of the university. She is the first female rector of a Bavarian university.

The Leopold Mozart Centre (German: Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum (LMZ) in Augsburg, Germany, is a university of music, founded as part of the University of Augsburg in 2008. It is located in the buildings of the former Musikhochschule as well as buildings on the university campus. The Leopold Mozart Centre was founded after the model of the Hochschule für Musik Mainz as part of the University of Mainz. It is focused on the interchange of music and science, offering music pedagogy, music therapy, mental training and improvisation, among others. The centre offers the common artistic and pedagogical bachelor and master courses such as string instruments, keyboard instruments, voice, wind instruments, percussion, conducting and musicology. All studies include elementary courses in psychology, sociology and political studies. The Collegium Musicum offers possibilities of music making in groups such as the orchestra, choir, chamber choir, big band, and various chamber music ensembles.

Inningen station (German: Bahnhof Inningen) is a train station in the Augsburg district Inningen, located in Swabia, Bavaria, Germany. It is served by DB Regio Bayern and Bayerische Regiobahn. AVV Bus service is available at the nearby Inningen Ost bus stop. In the 1960s, the station, now mainly used by commuters on local services, was converted into a stop with an alternate siding, the loading track of which was used until the 1990s for loading agricultural products such as sugar beets and for fuel. Today, the station consists of an unoccupied reception building and two outside platforms accessible via a pedestrian underpass.

Göggingen is one of the 17 Planungsräume (English: Planning district, singular Planungsraum) of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. The Planungsraum is made up of three Stadtbezirke (English: wards, singular Stadtbezirk), the 37th, 38th and 40th Stadtbezirke, which are named Göggingen-Nordwest (Northwest), Göggingen-Nordost (Northeast) and Göggingen-Süd (South), respectively. Located in the western part of Augsburg, Göggingen is numbered as the 14th Planungsraum and has an area of 10.79 km² (4.17 mi²). As of January 1, 2006, the population is estimated to be 17,722.

Augsburg-Haunstetten, also known as Haunstetten-Siebenbrunn is one of the seventeen Planungsräume (English: Planning district, singular: Planungsraum) of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. It is the largest of the seventeen Planungsräume with an area of 32.59 km² (12.58 mi²). It is one of the most heavily populated subdivisions of Augsburg, with over 25,000 inhabitants. The town of Siebenbrunn was its own entity until 1910 when it was annexed to Augsburg, and Haunstetten was its own city from 1952 until 1972, when Bavaria underwent extensive reform of its political subdivisions and Haunstetten was also annexed to Augsburg. The population stood at 26,291 as of December 31, 2010.

Augsburg-Universitätsviertel (English: University Quarter) is one of the 17 Planungsräume (English: Planning district, singular Planungsraum) of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. It consists of one Stadtbezirk, (English: Ward) out of the 41 that make up the city, the 32nd, with which its planning district is coterminous. The Universitätsviertel houses the main campus of the University of Augsburg, which was founded in 1970. The planning district also houses the old Augsburg Airport as well as the Volkssiedlung, (English: Public settlement or People's settlement) a public housing development. The district, with many university students, has a lower percentage of foreign-born residents than other areas of Augsburg, with only 13.1% compared to the citywide average of 16.7%. The Universitätsviertel has an area of 3.96 km2 (1.53 mi2), and as of January 1, 2007, a population of 10,824. It is bordered on the south by Inningen, the south and east by Haunstetten, on the north by Hochfeld, and on the west by Göggingen.

The Augsburg Railway Park (Bahnpark Augsburg) is a railway museum in Augsburg on part of the former Augsburg locomotive shed owned by the Deutsche Bahn. Following reconstruction work, the park officially reopened on 13 April 2009. In the future, 29 historic locomotives from the EU member countries and also Switzerland will be exhibited in the roundhouse and on the turntable, the so-called Europa Roundhouse (Rundhaus Europa), which are protected historical buildings. In addition to the roundhouse there are also three historical steam locomotive halls with a workshop atmosphere and a historical smithy.

Inningen is one of the 17 Planungsräume (English: Planning District) of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. It consists solely of the 41st Stadtbezirk (English: Ward or City Ward), with which it shares a name and is coterminous. As of January 1, 2006, Inningen was reported to have a population 4,735, and an area of 13.42 km2 (5.18 km2). Its population density is 352.8 persons per square kilometer (918.1 persons per square mile). It was previously its own municipality before being annexed to Augsburg in 1972.

Singold is a river of Bavaria, Germany. It flows into the Fabrikkanal, an artificial branch of the Wertach, near Augsburg.

Augsburg Morellstraße station is a station on the Augsburg–Buchloe railway in the German state of Bavaria. It is located south of the centre of Augsburg on the border of the districts of Antonsviertel and Hochfeld. It is a through station built with eight tracks and one island platform and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 6 station.
