Central Tower (San Francisco)

Market and 3rd Street (eastbound) and Market and Kearny (westbound) are a pair of one-way light rail stations in San Francisco, California, United States, serving the San Francisco Municipal Railway F Market & Wharves heritage railway line. They are located on Market Street at the intersections of 3rd Street and Kearny Street. The low-level platforms are also utilized by several bus and trolleybus routes. Under the planned Better Market Street project, the outbound F stop would be discontinued to reduce travel times.

The McLoughlin Gallery was an art gallery established in 2010 by Joan McLoughlin that presented contemporary art from mid-career and emerging artists. The gallery was located at 49 Geary Street, Suite 200 San Francisco, California, United States. The McLoughlin gallery was the third largest space at 49 Geary. Artists at the gallery worked with a variety of different, and sometimes non-traditional, materials including: resins, plastics, Xeroxes, glitter, wood panel, acrylic and found objects.

Newspaper Row in San Francisco referred to the five-point intersection of Market Street, Kearny Street, Third Street and Geary Street, where three of San Francisco's largest daily newspapers were headquartered, across the street from each other. By 1902, The San Francisco Call, The San Francisco Examiner and the San Francisco Chronicle were in buildings on corners, with the Chronicle in the Chronicle Building, the Call in the Spreckels Building and the Examiner in the Examiner building. The intersection became known as the "Times Square of the West".

Lotta's fountain is a fountain at the intersection of Market Street, where Geary and Kearny Streets connect in downtown San Francisco, California. It was commissioned by actress Lotta Crabtree in 1875 as a gift to the city of San Francisco, and would serve as a significant meeting point in the aftermath of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire.

The Monadnock Building (San Francisco) is an historic 10-story, 204,625 square foot office building in downtown San Francisco, California located at 685 Market St. The building was designed by the firm of Frederick H. Meyer and Smith, and completed in 1907, immediately following the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. The building stands immediately adjacent to both the BART Montgomery Street Station and the Palace Hotel, and across Market Street from Lotta's Fountain. The Monadnock Building is an example of the turn-of-the-century “Beaux Arts” style. The building was extensively renovated in 1986 and again in 2016. Macys.com is a major tenant and UBER became a major tenant in 2014.

The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences is a 312-foot (95 m) luxury residential skyscraper in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. The residences are built atop the historic Old Chronicle Building, sometimes called the de Young Building, which was constructed in 1890. It is the first skyscraper built in California.

The Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM) is a non-collecting museum at 736 Mission Street at Yerba Buena Lane in the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The museum, which was founded in 1984, is located in the historic Jessie Street Substation, which was gutted and its interior redesigned by Daniel Libeskind, along with a new addition; the new museum opened in 2008. Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Street, San Francisco (formerly named 706 Mission Street) is a 43-story, 510 ft (160 m) residential skyscraper under construction in the South of Market district of San Francisco, California. Located across the street from Yerba Buena Gardens and Moscone Center, the tower site is bounded by Mission Street on the south and 3rd Street on the east, and will incorporate the historic Aronson Building in its design. The tower will contain up to 190 condominiums on the upper floors and a permanent home for the Mexican Museum on the bottom four floors.
