Parañaque Science High School

Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Parañaque is a satellite campus of Polytechnic University of the Philippines located in Parañaque, Philippines. It was founded on 2011.

Ninoy Aquino station, also known as Ninoy Aquino Avenue station, is an under-construction Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Santo Niño, Parañaque. It is part of the LRT-1 South Extension Project. The station is built above Ninoy Aquino Avenue, which is named after former Senator Ninoy Aquino, and located on the east bank of the Parañaque River.

The Diocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso - Saint Andrew Cathedral-Parish, also known as Parañaque Cathedral or Saint Andrew Cathedral, is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines, located in Parañaque City, National Capital Region. Established on May 11, 1580 (1580-05-11) by the Spanish Augustinians, it is, at present, the seat of the Diocese of Parañaque, which comprises the cities of Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa.

It serves as an extension to Dr. Santos Avenue (formerly Sucat Road) and as a feeder road to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) from the south and the east. Like the airport it passes through, it is named after Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

Elpidio Quirino Avenue, also known simply as Quirino Avenue, is a major north-south collector road in Parañaque, southern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a four-lane undivided arterial running parallel to Roxas Boulevard and its extension, the Manila–Cavite Expressway, to the west from Baclaran at Parañaque's border with Pasay in the north to San Dionisio right by the border with Las Piñas in the south. It is a continuation of Harrison Avenue from Pasay and was originally a segment of the coastal highway called Calle Real. The entire road is a component of Radial Road 2 (R-2) of Manila's arterial road network, while its segment south of NAIA Road is a component of National Route 62 (N62) of the Philippine highway network. It was named after President Elpidio Quirino. The road's name is also applied alternatively to Diego Cera Avenue in Las Piñas.

The Parañaque River (Tagalog: Ilog ng Parañaque), also known as the Tambo River, is a river in Metro Manila in the Philippines. It is located south of Manila passing through Pasay and Parañaque located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The river exits Manila Bay between the barangays of Don Galo and La Huerta just north of the Parañaque Cathedral.

Asia World station, also known as PITX station, is an under-construction Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Parañaque. Named after the nearby Asiaworld district where it is situated, it is part of the LRT-1 South Extension Project to Cavite.

The Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX, Tagalog pronunciation: [ˈpitɛks]) is a public transport terminal in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. PITX is built and operated by Megawide Construction Corporation and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) under the Philippine government's Public-Private Partnership program.It replaced the older Southwest Integrated Transport Terminal (SITT) initially located at the derelict Uniwide Coastal Mall, which was transferred to HK Sun Plaza in Bay City, Pasay as the Southwest Interim Provincial Terminal (SWIPTS).Opened on November 5, 2018, PITX serves as a hub for buses, jeepneys, and other public utility vehicles headed for areas south of Metro Manila, including the provinces of Cavite and Batangas, and vice versa. It is projected to accommodate around 200,000 passengers. The terminal is also planned to connect with the Asia World station of the proposed Line 1 Cavite extension.

On May 4, 2025, at 08:06 PST (UTC+08:00; 00:06 UTC), a traffic collision occurred after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) rapidly accelerated and crashed into the terminal 1 building of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. The collision killed two people as a result of the inflicted blunt force traumas; both of whom were standing on the airport's curbside. Four others were also injured. The accused was Leo Sinlao Gonzales, who was driving the Ford Everest involved in the accident. Gonzales was sending off his traveling employer when, allegedly, a sedan passed in front of him, which he claimed caused him to panic and press the accelerator. However, CCTV footage contradicted his statement, showing no car was ahead of him. Emergency services were called to the site, and the victims were transported to San Juan de Dios Hospital in Pasay. Gonzales had his professional driver's license suspended by the Land Transportation Office, underwent a drug and alcohol test, which he tested negative, and was charged with two counts of homicide and other related charges. The accused first appeared in court on May 27, where he pleaded not guilty. The accident drew widespread attention, prompting responses from several agencies and reactions from personalities. It also prompted criticisms over airport infrastructure and accusations of corruption after a traffic bollard broke after being run over by the SUV and called out government agencies to address utmost road safety and licensing standards. New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC) president Ramon Ang, the Department of Migrant Workers, and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) have vowed to assist the victims. After the accident, NNIC probed other existing traffic bollards at the airport, planning to have them replaced and modify the terminal's drop-off configuration. The Malacañang Palace and the DOTr are initiating an investigation, focusing on scrutinizing the installed bollards at the airport, which were installed while the airport was under government control.

Vitalez, officially Barangay Vitalez, is an urban barangay located in the first district of Parañaque, Philippines. Located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport, it is the smallest barangay in the city. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,100. The barangay was created on April 3, 1978.

Dr. Santos station is an under-construction Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Parañaque. It is part of the LRT-1 South Extension Project. The station would be situated in between Dr. Santos Avenue, CAVITEX–C-5 Link and C-5 Extension in Parañaque, a few hundred meters behind SM City Sucat.
