Foulk Stapleford

St Peter's Church is in the village of Hargrave, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Malpas.

Lower Huxley Hall is a moated manor house in Cheshire, England, located about 6.5 miles (10 km) southeast of Chester. It lies roughly halfway between the villages of Huxley (to the southeast) and Hargrave (to the southwest), It dates from the late 15th century, with major additions and alterations in the 17th century. A small addition was made to the rear in the 19th century. It was originally a courtyard house, but only two wings remain. The house is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.

Bruen Stapleford is a former civil parish, now in the parish of Tarvin in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 66, rising to 186 at the 2011 Census. The civil parish was abolished in 2015 and merged into Tarvin.

Tattenhall Road railway station was a railway station situated a mile to the north of the village of Tattenhall, Cheshire on the Chester and Crewe Railway that was built in 1840 linking Chester to the north-west with Crewe to the south-east. The track now forms part of the North Wales Coast Line. The station was named Tattenhall Road in 1872 to distinguish it from another Tattenhall railway station, a little to the west of the village, on the Whitchurch and Tattenhall Railway branch line to Whitchurch. The station took back the name Tattenhall when the branch line closed in 1957. It was then itself closed in 1966. The station building still exists, now as a private house.

Burton Hall is in the small village of Burton, 2 miles (3 km) to the southeast of the larger village of Tarvin, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.The house dates from the early 17th century, and was built by John Werden. There have been some small 19th-century additions. It is built in brick with buff sandstone dressings, it has a Welsh slate roof, and four stone-capped brick chimneys. Its plan is square and the house has three storeys over a basement, with a symmetrical three-bay front. The entrance is approached by ten stone steps. The garden walls and gateway are separately listed at Grade II.The Rowton family purchased the building, which had fallen into considerable disrepair throughout the late 20th century, in 2006 and carried out an extensive restoration programme. In 2018, they advertised a raffle in which participants could buy tickets for £5 and have the chance of winning the house.

Hockenhull Hall is a mansion house to the southwest of the village of Tarvin, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. Hockenhull Hall dates from the 17th century but was completely remodelled about 1715 for Hugh Wishaw of Chester. Its design is attributed to the architect Francis Smith. It is built in brick with sandstone dressings and has a square plan. The roof is in Welsh slate and is hipped. The hall is built in two storeys over a basement, with the main façades facing the south and the east.The hall is part of a working farm. In 2009 it was placed on the market with an estimated price of £4 million.

Newton is a settlement and as Newton-by-Tattenhall a former civil parish, now in the parish of Tattenhall and District in the Cheshire West and Chester district, and ceremonial county of Cheshire in England. In 2011 it had a population of 131, up from 116 in 2001. The civil parish was abolished in 2015 to form Tattenhall and District, part also went to Hargrave and Huxley.

Hockenhull is a former civil parish, now in the parish of Tarvin, in the Borough of Cheshire West and Chester and ceremonial county of Cheshire in England. In 2001 it had a population of 19. The civil parish was abolished in 2015 and merged into Tarvin.The parish contained one listed building, Hockenhull Hall, which is designed by English Heritage at Grade II*. This grade is the middle of the three gradings given to listed buildings and is applied to "particularly important buildings of more than special interest".

The Hockenhull Platts are three bridges southwest of the village of Tarvin, Cheshire, England. They are also known as the "Packhorse Bridges" or (erroneously) the "Roman Bridges", and are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as designated Grade II listed buildings. The bridges are situated where Platts Lane crosses the River Gowy. An area of 5 hectares (12 acres) west of the Gowy, including the westernmost bridge, forms Hockenhull Platts Nature Reserve, managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

Tarvin is a village in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It had a population of 2,693 people at the 2001 UK census, rising to 2,728 at the 2011 census, and the ward covers about 17 square miles (44 km2).
