Phoenix Children's Hospital is a freestanding pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. The hospital has 457 pediatric beds and is affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Phoenix Children's also partners with Valleywise Health (formerly the Maricopa Integrated Health System) for a 3-year pediatric residency training program. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, trauma, and urgent care to infants, children, teens, and young adults 0–21 throughout Arizona and the surrounding states. The hospital sometimes also treats older adults that require pediatric care. Phoenix Children's Hospital also features a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, the only in the state.The hospital is one facility within Phoenix Children's statewide pediatric health system. Additional locations include Phoenix Children's Hospital–East Valley at Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, four pediatric specialty and urgent care centers, 11 community pediatric practices, 20 outpatient clinics, two ambulatory surgery centers and seven community-service-related outpatient clinics. The Rhodes UFO photos, sometimes called the shoe-heel UFO photos, are two photos that were reportedly taken on July 7, 1947 by amateur astronomer and inventor William Albert Rhodes. The photographs purport to show a disc-like object flying above Phoenix, Arizona. Rhodes's account and photographs were published by the Arizona Republic on July 9.The photos were included in original saucer witness Kenneth Arnold's 1952 book The Coming of the Saucers, and they were reprinted multiple times by magazine editor and early UFO conspiracy theorist Raymond Palmer. Coming just weeks after the Kenneth Arnold report, the Rhodes photographs were among the very first purported UFO photographs. The photographs continue to be discussed in the media into the 21st century. Air Force files categorized the Rhodes Photos as a "possible hoax".

The Biltmore Area is an upscale residential neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. It is among the city's wealthiest neighborhoods, with a "posh" reputation. The Arizona Biltmore Hotel is in the area. Housing includes both condominiums as well as mansions and older homes. Plans for golf course expansion in the area in the late 2010s and 2020s encountered opposition from some neighborhood residents, prompting litigation.

The Rhythm Room is a roots, blues, and concert club located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is the venue of nationally known acts on an almost nightly basis. In 2003 the club was named by the Phoenix New Times as the "Best Club for Blues" in its "Best of Phoenix" awards. In July of that same year the club hosted a live recording session by an 88-year-old Robert Lockwood, Jr. The resulting performance, Legend Live, was released the following year by M.C. Records. A 2001 Hightone Records compilation, Rhythm Room Blues (LIVE), also captured live performances from the venue by R. L. Burnside, Kim Wilson, Sonny Rhodes, and others. Singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen describes a concert performed at the Rhythm Room in his song, "Furnace Fan" on his 2003 release, Farm Fresh Onions. Keen, however, misidentifies the club's location as being in the adjacent community of Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Fry Bread House is a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, serving fry bread, a Native American dish of dough fried in lard, Crisco, or oil, which the restaurant serves with various toppings or fillings. Exact recipes and ingredients vary but those typical of frybread are flour, salt, and lard, reflecting the commodities doled out on the reservations by the U.S. federal government.The Fry Bread House was opened in 1992 by Cecilia Miller, a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Native Americans. In 2012, it was recognized by the James Beard Foundation as an American Classic. As of 2012 it was one of only five restaurants, and the first Native American restaurant, in the United States to win the James Beard American Classics award. Miller died in 2020 at age 81 and passed the restaurant to her children.

The Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, Arizona, is a landmark building constructed between 1929 and 1931 by chewing-gum magnate William Wrigley Jr. It is also known as William Wrigley Jr. Winter Cottage and as La Colina Solana. Located at 2501 East Telewa Trail, it sits atop a 100-foot (30 m) knoll with views of greater Phoenix to the south, close to the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, which Wrigley owned.
