The Biltmore Area is an upscale residential neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. It is among the city's wealthiest neighborhoods, with a "posh" reputation. The Arizona Biltmore Hotel is in the area. Housing includes both condominiums as well as mansions and older homes. Plans for golf course expansion in the area in the late 2010s and 2020s encountered opposition from some neighborhood residents, prompting litigation.

Camelback High School is part of the Phoenix Union High School District. The campus is located at 4612 North 28th Street, northeast of downtown Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Camelback's enrollment is just over 2,000 students, over 75 percent of whom are Hispanic. The school predominantly serves students from partner elementary districts Balsz, Creighton, Madison and Wilson.

The Wrigley Mansion in Phoenix, Arizona, is a landmark building constructed between 1929 and 1931 by chewing-gum magnate William Wrigley Jr. It is also known as William Wrigley Jr. Winter Cottage and as La Colina Solana. Located at 2501 East Telewa Trail, it sits atop a 100-foot (30 m) knoll with views of greater Phoenix to the south, close to the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, which Wrigley owned.

The Mason Jar was a nightclub and music venue in Phoenix, Arizona. It was known for rock music, alternative rock, punk rock, hip hop, and heavy metal in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Many famous bands such as Nirvana, Rob Zombie, The Ramones, Joan Jett, Stone Temple Pilots, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Tool, The Black Crowes, Los Lobos, Meat Puppets, and many others took the stage during its heyday.

The Rose Pauson House in Phoenix, Arizona, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1939 and built 1940–1942. The neighborhood was platted and 1st recorded as the new Alta Vista Park Estates in 1928 just before the Great Depression. The depression and long, slow economic recovery meant little real estate and new home construction occurred on the neighboring lots until the late 1930s when the luxury home was planned. The building was located on a hillock on the present alignment of 32nd Street. In 1943 the house burned down when a fallen ember from the fireplace ignited a hand-woven curtain on a nearby window. All that remained were the ruins of the foundation and walls. The ruins became a local landmark known as "Shiprock" due to their prominent shape and location. Plans to remove the ruins, in order to extend 32nd Street through the site, created a public protest. The road was extended, but only after the protests resulted in the loss of federal funds intended for the project. The rear chimney mass (serving the master bedroom fireplace-furnace flues), all that remains of the ruins, was moved south in 1979 as a permanent monument marking the entrance to the Alta Vista Park Estates subdivision of the neighborhood land.

Though not as well known as some of the larger resort hotels in Phoenix, the Hermosa Inn has been highly rated by AAA and Fodor's.The Hermosa Inn has been ranked #1 Hotel in the Southwest in 2017 and 2018 in the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards.

The Rhodes UFO photos, sometimes called the shoe-heel UFO photos, are two photos that were reportedly taken on July 7, 1947 by amateur astronomer and inventor William Albert Rhodes. The photographs purport to show a disc-like object flying above Phoenix, Arizona. Rhodes's account and photographs were published by the Arizona Republic on July 9.The photos were included in original saucer witness Kenneth Arnold's 1952 book The Coming of the Saucers, and they were reprinted multiple times by magazine editor and early UFO conspiracy theorist Raymond Palmer. Coming just weeks after the Kenneth Arnold report, the Rhodes photographs were among the very first purported UFO photographs. The photographs continue to be discussed in the media into the 21st century. Air Force files categorized the Rhodes Photos as a "possible hoax".

Phoenix Children's Hospital is a freestanding pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. The hospital has 457 pediatric beds and is affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Phoenix Children's also partners with Valleywise Health (formerly the Maricopa Integrated Health System) for a 3-year pediatric residency training program. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, trauma, and urgent care to infants, children, teens, and young adults 0–21 throughout Arizona and the surrounding states. The hospital sometimes also treats older adults that require pediatric care. Phoenix Children's Hospital also features a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, the only in the state.The hospital is one facility within Phoenix Children's statewide pediatric health system.
