The Fountain of the Idol (Portuguese: Fonte do Ídolo) is a Roman fountain located in the civil parish of São José de São Lázaro, in the municipality of Braga, northern Portugal. Located in the former territory of the Callaici Bracari, the granite rock fountain/spring has Latin inscriptions, dedicated to the Gallaecian and Lusitanian gods Tongoenabiagus and Nabia (built during the era of Roman Emperor Augustus).

The Theatre Circo (Portuguese: Teatro Circo) is a 20th-century, Portuguese revivalist theatre, in the civil parish of São João do Souto, municipality of Braga. Designed by the architect João de Moura Coutinho, it was first inaugurated on 21 April 1915 with a performance of Ruggero Leoncavallo's operetta La reginetta delle rose (Portuguese: Rainha das Rosas).Following a storied history that included the first talking films, operas and public performances, the building was restored by the municipal council of Braga, and reopened in 2006.

The Residence of the Crivos (Portuguese: Casa dos Crivos (Sieves House)) is a Renaissance-era shop/residence constructed outside the old walls of Braga, in the civil parish of São João do Souto, municipality of Braga. It is characteristic of late Renaissance architecture and one of the few examples of a building covered in wood-lattice facade from this period.

The Café A Brasileira (The Brazilian Cafe) is a café situated along the Largo Barão de São Martinho, in the civil parish of Braga (São José de São Lázaro e São João do Souto), in the historic Portuguese municipality of the same name.

The Chapel of the Coimbras (Portuguese: Capela dos Coimbras) is a Manueline chapel located in the civil parish of São João do Souto, in the municipality of Braga. It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910.

The Congregados Basilica in Portuguese, Igreja dos Congregados is a Portuguese 18th-century baroque Basilica in Braga, Portugal. The church, a project from the architect André Soares, is flanked on the top by two bell towers, one of which was finished in the 1960s.

Castle of Braga (Portuguese: Castelo de Braga) is a historical fortification and defensive line encircling the city of Braga. While, in fact, the only remains of this structure are the various gates and towers along its perimeter, the main keep tower, located in the civil parish of São João do Souto, is the only true remnant of the medieval castle. The old castle, today demolished, had an approximate rectangular plan, with towers on each vertex. Of the walls of the city, only the gate, tower of Santiago, tower of São Sebastião and Porta Nova remain (the latter being completely remodeled in a Rococo style and completely different stylistically).Its perimeter barely exceeded 2,000 metres (6,600 ft), and was delimited (today) in the east by the Praça da República, west by the Rua do Castelo (keep and castle), Rua de São Marcos, Rua do Anjo, Largo de Santiago, Rua do Alcaide, Largo de Paulo Orósio, Rua de Jerónimo Pimentel, Campo das Carvalheiras, Avenida de São Miguel o Anjo, Largo da Porta Nova, Rua dos Biscainhos, Praça do Conselheiro Torres e Almeida and Rua dos Capelistas (walls).The demolition of the grounds began in 1858 in the Largo do Barão de S. Martinho, with the destruction of the Souto Gate, followed by the Eastern and São Bento Gates, still in the 19th century. After the beginning of the 20th century, many other lines of the castle were destroyed between the Arco da Porta Nova and Rua dos Biscainhos, and from Rua dos Biscainhos and Rua do Alcaide (whose houses abutted the wall, between Campo da Vinha and Praça do Município and Rua de São Marcos). Few remnants of the medieval lines remain today. The ancient wall can be seen in some of the backyards of homes along the Rua do Anjo and Rua de São Marcos. Still, further, there still exists the Gate of São Tiago, even if partially altered due to the construction in the second half of the 18th century, through the addition of the Capela da Senhora da Torre. Along Rua de São Marcos, in 1985, one property owner constructed over the foundations of one part of the wall, while in March 1990, there was a collapse of one part of the ancient wall, during the demolition of the old Facho garment factory.

The Pius XII Museum (in Portuguese: Museu Pio XII) is located in Braga, Portugal, in the same building of the Museum Medina, as the name from the Pope Pius XII.The collection of the museum comprise Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age implements, Pre-historic and Luso-Roman pottery. In the museum is a Peristyle part of a Roman Villa in the original location.

The Nogueira da Silva Museum is located in Braga, Portugal. The museum consists of the legacy bequeathed by the entrepreneur Nogueira da Silva to the University of Minho. In his philanthropic activity and enthusiasm for antiques and works of art, he accumulated an invaluable collection which included many rare pieces of furniture, paintings, and sculptures from various periods and styles. The museum comprises significant Renaissance pieces, Portuguese painting, 17th furniture, ceramics and creations in ivory, silver and religious art.In addition to the art collection, the legacy included the magnificent building, in the centre of Braga with beautiful gardens of French inspiration.

The Medina Museum is located in Braga, Portugal, in the same building of the Pius XII Museum The collection comprises 83 oil paintings and 21 drawings of the naturalist painter Henrique Medina. Among the collection there are many portraits, still life and landscapes.The museum was inaugurated on 21 June 1984.Henrique Medina (1901-1988) was born in Porto where he graduated in art. He also studied in Paris, Rome and London. His work is represented in many different museums in Portugal and other countries.

The Saint Paul Church in Portuguese, Igreja de São Paulo is a Portuguese 16th-century church in Braga, Portugal, dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle of Jesus. The church was built by the Jesuits for their College, in the time of the Archbishop Bartholomew of Braga, with a pure simple facade which is in contrast to its luxurious baroque interior with a magnificent wood carving work in the altars. It is currently integrated with the Seminar of Saint Peter and Saint Paul and with the Pius XII Museum.
