East Boldre

New Forest East is a constituency in Hampshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since its creation in 1997 by Julian Lewis of the Conservative Party.

Beaulieu Palace House ( BEW-lee) is a 13th-century house in Beaulieu, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Originally part of Beaulieu Abbey, the estate was bought in 1538 by Thomas Wriothesley, 1st Earl of Southampton, following the Dissolution of the Monasteries. It is still owned and occupied by the earl's descendants, the Barons Montagu of Beaulieu.

Norley Copse and Meadow is a 7.5-hectare (19-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Lymington in Hampshire. It is part of New Forest Ramsar site and Special Protection Area.The Crockford Stream runs through this site, which has old oak woodland with hazel coppice and unimproved grassland which is managed by grazing. The meadow has 140 species of higher plants and it is also rich in invertebrates, including eight species of dragonfly and a rare picture-winged fly, Sphenella marginata.

The Beaulieu Monorail is England's first monorail, linking the National Motor Museum to the Beaulieu Palace House. the monorail line passes through the main museum building, allowing passengers to see the automobile collection from above. Originally installed at a Butlins Holiday Camp, the monorail was moved to its present location in 1974. The cars were originally of a streamliner design, but were modified to allow for more passenger space prior to beginning work at Beaulieu. The line was formally opened 29 July 1974.In late 2023 the museum applied for planning permission to demolish the south station on the basis that most passengers ride the entire loop from the main station. The New Forest Natonal Parks Authority granted permission at the end of December 2023.

The National Motor Museum (originally the Montagu Motor Museum) is a museum in the village of Beaulieu, set in the heart of the New Forest, in the English county of Hampshire.

Beaulieu Abbey was a Cistercian abbey in Hampshire, England. It was founded in 1203–1204 by King John and (uniquely in Britain) populated by 30 monks sent from the abbey of Cîteaux in France, the mother house of the Cistercian order. The Medieval Latin name of the monastery was Bellus Locus Regis ("The beautiful place of the king"') or monasterium Belli loci Regis. Other spellings of the English name which occur historically are Bewley (16th century) and Beaulie (17th century).

Sowley Pond is a 49.3-hectare (122-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Lymington in Hampshire. It is part of Solent and Southampton Water Ramsar site and Special Protection Area. It is an important refuge for both surface feeding and diving ducks and functions as an integral part of the marshland system of the west Solent.

Royal Air Force Beaulieu or more simply RAF Beaulieu is a former Royal Air Force station in the New Forest, Hampshire, England. It was also known as Beaulieu airfield, Beaulieu aerodrome and USAAF Station AAF 408. It is located on Hatchet Moor 1 mile (2 km) west of the village of East Boldre, about 2 miles (3 km) west-southwest of the village of Beaulieu and 4 miles (6 km) north-east of Lymington. During the First World War there was a Royal Flying Corps training airfield, RFC Beaulieu, at East Boldre that was closed in 1919 The new RAF Beaulieu, opened on 8 August 1942, was built on the opposite side of the road. It was used by both the Royal Air Force and then later United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used as a bomber and fighter airfield. After the war, it was used for experimental work before it was closed in 1959. Today the remains of the airfield are on heathland managed by the Forestry Commission. Areas of the old airfield are now designated as a flying area for model aircraft.

The South Hampshire Coast was an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Hampshire, England, UK that was subsumed into the New Forest National Park when it was established on 1 April 2005. It lies between the New Forest and the west shore of the Solent. It includes freshwater lagoons, salt-marsh, shingle, tidal mudflats, wooded coastal lowlands and the estuaries of the Beaulieu and Lymington rivers. The entire length of the AONB's coast is covered by Sites of Special Scientific Interest and the estuaries in particular are notable for wildlife. Places of interest include Bucklers Hard.
