Dekum Building

The Hamilton Building is a historic office building in downtown Portland, Oregon. It went through a renovation in 1977, and was listed on National Register of Historic Places in March of that year. It is the neighbor of the Dekum Building, a fellow NRHP listing on Third Avenue. The building, completed in 1893, is an anomaly among its contemporaries. While many buildings built during the late 19th century were often ornate, the Hamilton building has little decoration. It is said that architects Whidden & Lewis designed a ground-breaking building, built decades ahead of later (and similar) trends in commercial architecture. Decoration comes in the form of granite-clad cast iron entry columns and cable mouldings, set against a Japanese-brick facade.The Hamilton Building is 6 stories tall, and is named after Hamilton Corbett, son of Henry W. Corbett. It is also the first building in Portland designed in the Classical Revival style.

The Spalding Building, formerly the Oregon Bank Building, is a historic office building in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States on the northwest corner of SW 3rd Avenue and Washington streets. Since 1982, it has been on the National Register of Historic Places.Architect Cass Gilbert worked on the American Renaissance-style Spalding building while also working on the Woolworth Building in New York City. Completed in 1911, it was considered a skyscraper.The 103,824-square-foot (9,645.6 m2) building contains 12 above-ground floors, and its construction mimics a classical column: A base, a shaft, and a capital.In spring 2016, Squarespace, a website-design company based in New York City, moved its Portland office to the Spalding Building, in newly renovated space used by around 150 employees.

Blueplate Lunch Counter and Soda Fountain was a restaurant in Portland, Oregon, United States. Located in downtown's Dekum Building, the diner and lunch counter was established by chef–owner Jeff Reiter in 2006. The menu had American-style comfort food such as chicken and dumplings, French toast, meatloaf, and hot dogs, as well as banana splits, egg creams, milkshakes, and sundaes. Blueplate was one of the city's only in-house soda fountains, offering classic and original varieties. Guy Fieri visited for a 2012 episode of the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. The restaurant garnered a positive reception, especially for its sodas, burger sliders, macaroni and cheese, and grilled cheese and tomato soup combination, which Fieri said was among the nation's best. Blueplate closed in 2016, after operating for nine years.

The Jack London Revue is a jazz club in Portland, Oregon, United States. The venue is beneath the Rialto Poolroom Bar and Cafe at the intersection of Southwest Fourth Avenue and Southwest Alder Street in downtown Portland. The Jack London Revue opened on May 27, 2017, shortly after Jimmy Mak's closed, and replacing the Jack London Bar. The venue is owned by Frank Faillace and Manish Patel. It has a seating capacity of 220, as of June 2017.

The Hotel Alder, is an historic five-story building in downtown Portland, Oregon, United States. In 2004, it was named to the National Register of Historic Places. It has also been known as the Hotel President, the Jack London Hotel, and Century Plaza. The ground floor is occupied by the popular Rialto Poolroom Bar and Cafe and an off-track betting parlor which was sold to new owners in December 2016.

Moda Tower (formerly ODS Tower) is a 24-story office building in Portland, Oregon. At 308 ft. (94m), it is Portland's tenth-tallest building. Health insurance company Moda Health is the primary tenant of the high-rise. Unico Properties purchased Moda Tower in 2018.

Upstream Downtown is an outdoor 1992 sculpture by American artist Gary Hirsch, installed along the exterior side of the parking garage at Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Morrison Street in Portland, Oregon. The installation features a series of eighteen multi-colored fish sculptures made of aluminum, acrylic and enamel, each measuring 4 feet (1.2 m) x 12 feet (3.7 m). According to the Regional Arts & Culture Council, which administers the work, Hirsch said: "I intended the piece to serve as a whimsical analogy to downtown business life. It's frenetic, humorous story with each of us bustling against the stream to get what we want."
