Temple University, Japan Campus (Abbreviated: TUJ, Japanese: テンプル大学ジャパンキャンパス) is an international campus of Temple University (located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States). TUJ has classrooms and student facilities in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. It is the oldest and largest foreign university in Japan, with an estimated 2,051 matriculated students, of which approximately 60% come from nearly 70 countries around the world (approximately 40% are from Japan).The university offers many degree programs, including an A.A., B.A., M.S.Ed., Ed.D., Ph.D., MiM, and LL.M., and offers semester and year-long study abroad programs for U.S. undergraduate and law students. In addition, TUJ offers non-degree programs including English-language (ESL), continuing education for adults, and corporate education. As of 2022, TUJ enrolls 2,071 degree-seeking students: 1,840+ undergraduates and 230+ postgraduates (8 Music Therapy, 21 MiM, 70 Law, 131 Graduate College of Education). Non-degree enrollment totals 2,155+, including 1,205 Academic English Program students and 750+ Continuing Education students.

Araki (Japanese: あら輝, Hepburn: Araki) was a sushi restaurant run by Japanese chef Mitsuhiro Araki (荒木水都弘) in the Ginza neighbourhood of Tokyo, Japan. It received a three-star rating in the 2011 edition of the Michelin Guide for Tokyo, Yokohama and Kamakura. Described as "Japan's most difficult restaurant to make a booking at", the restaurant closed in February 2013 so that Araki could pursue a new challenge overseas, which led to him opening The Araki in London in October 2014. In March 2019, Araki moved to Hong Kong to open another restaurant and was replaced at The Araki in London by Marty Lau. While The Araki had three Michelin star ratings, it was stripped of all three stars in the 2020 guide.The restaurant is known for its seafood influenced cuisine, as well as for staying true to Japanese culture and traditions with a lot of the staff wearing traditional Japanese clothes. The restaurant is at the higher end of the price scale, with the average cost being around £300 per person.

Hōtōzan Hōju-in Daishin-ji (宝島山峯樹院大信寺), abbreviated Daishin-ji, is a Buddhist temple of the Jōdo sect in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. In 1611, the founder, Ryō-kō Shōnin, was given land for the temple in Minami Hatchōbori by the Tokugawa shogunate. The temple was originally named Hōtōzan. In 1635, it was relocated to its present site in Mita 4 chōme by order of the government, to accommodate the continuing expansion of Edo. In 1636, Ishimura Genzaemon, considered the first shamisen craftsman in Edo, was buried in the temple. From Ishimura Omi, the graves of eleven generations of the family were also constructed there. For this reason, the temple is sometimes nicknamed "The Shamisen Temple."

Shirokane (白金) is a district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Currently it consists of six chōme. According to Minato, as of November 1, 2007, the population in the neighborhood is 14,840. The term Shirokane narrowly refers to Shirokane 1-chōme to Shirokane 6-chōme, but is sometimes used to include the larger neighborhood formerly known as Shiba-Shirokane (芝白金), which encompasses part of Shirokanedai and Takanawa as well as Shirokane. The History Museum of J-Koreans (Japanese: 在日韓人歴史資料館, Korean: 재일한인역사자료관) is a museum covering the history of Koreans in Japan (especially Zainichi Koreans) located in Tokyo, Japan. The museum was established on November 24, 2005. The museum covers both major historical events and the daily lives of Zainichi Koreans from the late Joseon period to the present day. It has a collection of over 70,000 artifacts, which it is digitalizing. The museum is relatively unknown to both the Korean and Japanese general publics, and had a total of 32,000 visitors from 2005 to 2015.

It was once home to grand estates of several daimyo, and now is one of Tokyo's most expensive upscale residential districts; it is home to many artists, CEOs, and celebrities.Mita is bordered by Higashi-Azabu on the north, Azabu-Jūban and Minami-Azabu to the west, and Shirokane and Takanawa to the south. Mita is home to Keio University, Mita Hachiman Jinja, and the diplomatic missions of Kuwait, Italy, Hungary, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.
