Famous Smoke Shop is one of the largest cigar mail order businesses in the United States. The company was formed in October, 1939 in Midtown Manhattan as a cigar and gift shop. In 2000, increasing rents and taxes forced the company to move its operations to Easton, Pennsylvania, a state that currently imposes no cigar tax. Famous Smoke Shop is engaged primarily in the retail and wholesale of cigars, humidors, and cigar accessories through mail order catalogs, a brick and mortar retail shop, and several websites.

Hilton Rahn '51 Field at Kamine Stadium is a college baseball stadium in the Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex in Forks Township, Pennsylvania. It hosts the Lafayette Leopards of the Patriot League. The stadium is completely composed of natural grass with a dirt infield and dirt base paths. A 15-foot crushed rock warning track is in front of an eight-foot high outfield fence.

The Palmer Bikeway is a system of trails in Palmer Township, Pennsylvania. These include a towpath adjacent to the Lehigh River, along with extensions that go up through residential areas of the township. The bikeway is connected to other trails which extend into the cities of Easton and Bethlehem, and proceeds through a corner of Wilson. The northern portion of the trail, which extends from Penn Pump Park to Tatamy Borough parallel to the Bushkill Creek, will eventually be linked to the rest of the Bikeway via an unbuilt section between Northwood Avenue at Penn Pump Park and Bushkill Park Drive just northeast of Bushkill Park. Once an undeveloped portion of trail between Tatamy and Stockertown is completed, the Palmer Bikeway will connect with the Plainfield Township Trail, creating a regional trail system.

It is located in Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional District, and in Pennsylvania's 137th (State House of Representatives) and 18th (State Senate) Legislative Districts.

It is located 12 miles (19 km) northeast of Allentown, 51 miles (82 km) north of Philadelphia, and 66 miles (106 km) west of New York City. Its population as of the 2020 census was 6,689. It is part of the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area, which had a population of 861,899 and was the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of 2020. Chestnut Hill is on the eastern edge of Northampton County, in the southeastern quadrant of Forks Township. It is bordered to the south by the city of Easton and to the east by the Delaware River, which forms the Pennsylvania–New Jersey border. It is bordered to the west by Sullivan Trail (old Pennsylvania Route 115), which leads northwest 4 miles (6 km) to Stockertown. Pennsylvania Route 611 follows the Delaware River along the eastern edge of Chestnut Hill, leading south into Easton and northeast 17 miles (27 km) to Portland. Chestnut Hill is a 719-foot-high (219 m) ridge which runs along the southern border of the CDP, overlooking the Delaware River.

WODE-FM (99.9 FM, "99.9 The Hawk") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to serve Easton, Pennsylvania. The station's service contour covers the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.The station is owned by Cumulus Media, through licensee Radio License Holding CBC, LLC, and broadcasts a classic rock radio format, playing rock hits from the 1960s into the early 1990s. WODE-FM's transmitter, studios, and offices are on Paxinosa Road West in Easton. The station is frequently at or near the top of the ratings in the Allentown-Easton-Bethlehem radio market. WODE-FM broadcasts using HD Radio, and simulcasts the sports programming of sister station 1230 AM WEEX on its HD2 subchannel.

Easton Area School District is an urban, suburban, and rural public school district located in Northampton County in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It serves the city of Easton and Forks, Palmer, and portions of Lower Mount Bethel townships. Students in grades nine through 12 attend Easton Area High School in Easton. Students in grades five through eight attend Easton Area Middle School, and the district has six elementary schools, Ada B. Cheston, F.A. March, Forks, Palmer, Paxinosa, and Shawnee, for kindergarten through fourth grades. As of the 2020–21 school year, the school district had a total enrollment of 8,289 students between all nine of its schools, according to National Center for Education Statistics data. Easton Area School District encompasses approximately 28 square miles. In 2009, the per capita income was $20,875, while the median family income was $53,545. According to 2005 local census data, it served a resident population of 63,195. As of the 2021-22 school year, Easton Area School District served 7.984 students between its nine schools, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.

Chestnut Hill (Paxinosa Ridge, College Hill, Lafayette Hill or Mount Lafayette) is a low mountain in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The main peak rises to 722 feet (220 m), and is located in Forks Township; the southern slopes extend into the City of Easton where it is known as College Hill in allusion to Lafayette College. The neighborhood within Forks Township on the northern slopes of the mountain is known as Chestnut Hill. Chestnut Hill overlooks the Delaware River, and, with Marble Mountain on the New Jersey side, forms Weygadt Gap or the "Little Water Gap". The cliff overlooking Weygadt Gap is known as St. Anthony's Nose. Chestnut Hill adjoins the Great Appalachian Valley to the north at Frost Hollow. It is part of the Reading Prong of the Appalachian Mountains.

Bushkill Park is an amusement park located in Easton, Pennsylvania, generally geared toward younger audiences, although most of it is not currently open. The facility operated continuously from 1902 to 2004 and during the summer of 2006, and was then closed until January 2017, when the roller skating rink reopened. In 1933, Thomas Long (1885–1965) leased Bushkill Park, furnishing it with a hand carved carousel that he and his father had purchased. Long bought the park in 1939 and operated it for the rest of his life with his wife, Mabel "Mom" Long. After his death, Mabel operated it with Melvin Heavener until he died in 1986 and then alone until her own death in 1989. The first owner after 1989 was William Hogan and his partner, Neal Fehnel. Fehnel sold his share to Sammy Baurkot, who was already a co-owner; the date of the sale is May 2019. As of mid-2019, Sammy Baurkot completed his acquisition and is now the sole owner. Bushkill Park was famous for its antique rides such as bumper cars, "The Whip", "The Haunted Pretzel", and "The Bar'l of Fun." The park has operated two vintage carousels over the years, however the carousel building collapsed in 2014. Bushkill Park is home to the United States of America's oldest funhouse, the "Bar'l of Fun". In January 2017, the park had reopened its skating rink, the indoor arcade and children's party area. The park currently runs open roller-skating on Friday and Saturday nights, and on Sunday afternoons, in addition to Tuesday nights. Rentals for birthday parties and picnics are also available. At the 115th Birthday celebration on July 9, 2017, rides were not yet operating but plans were revealed for reopening a completely revamped facility with seven or eight fully functioning rides and the funhouse for the 2018 season. In the past, 14 of the 17 rides had been sold, so the owner may be acquiring new ones while renovating those previously considered to have been destroyed.The park has opened for the 2022 season and celebrated 120 years on July 4. The Bar'l Of Fun Funhouse (now known as Hilarity Hall) has been restored and opened as well.
