Tokuan Station

Tsurumi (鶴見区, Tsurumi-ku) is one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. It is best known for its large parkland, Tsurumi-Ryokuchi, the site of the 1990 International Garden Exposition.

The Sakuya Konohana Kan (咲くやこの花館) is a botanical garden set within one of the world's largest greenhouses, located in Tsurumi Ryokuchi park at 2-163 Ryokuchi Koen, Tsurumi-ku, Osaka, Japan. It is open daily except Mondays; an admission fee is charged. The gardens were constructed between 1987 and 1989, and currently contain about 15,000 plants representing 2,600 species from various climatic zones. Total floor space is about 6,900 m² with a maximum height of 30 meters. The Konoike Shinden (鴻池新田) was a new land development undertaken by a wealthy Osaka merchant, Konoike Zen'emon in mid-Edo Period Japan. It was located in central Kawachi Province in what is now part of the city of Higashiōsaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The well-preserved buildings of the management office of the settlement were designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1976.
