Manasses Guth Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located at South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is a 108-foot-long (33 m), Burr Truss bridge, constructed in 1858, and rebuilt in 1882. It has vertical siding. It crosses Jordan Creek.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Wehr Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located at South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is a three span, 117-foot-long (36 m), Burr Truss bridge, constructed in 1841. It has horizontal siding and gable roof. It crosses Jordan Creek.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. After an incident in July 2014 in which a grossly overweight truck crossed the bridge, it was closed for several days for inspection. The bridge did not sustain significant structural damage, but county officials decided to reduce the posted weight limit from 20,000 pounds (9,000 kg) to 8,000 pounds (4,000 kg).

Parkland High School is a large public high school in South Whitehall Township, near Allentown, Pennsylvania. The school serves students in grades 9–12 and is the only high school in Parkland School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, it had a student population of 3,171, according to National Center for Education Statistics data, making it the fourth-largest traditional high school in Pennsylvania.

Haines Mill, also known as the Haines Mill Museum, is an historic grist mill located in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Built sometime around 1840, it is a four-story, stone building with a slate covered gambrel roof, and is three bays by three bays, 42 ft (13 m) by 46 ft 9 in (14.25 m).

Steel Force is a steel roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. As of 2022, Steel Force, at 5,600 feet (1,700 m) in length, is the eighth-longest steel coaster in the world.Built by D. H. Morgan Manufacturing and designed by Steve Okamoto, the roller coaster opened to the public on May 30, 1997, and was billed as "the tallest and longest roller coaster on the east coast", featuring a 205-foot (62 m) drop, 5,600 feet (1,700 m) of track, and a maximum speed of 75 mph (121 km/h).

Thunderhawk is a wooden roller coaster with an out-and-back layout located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Originally opening as The Coaster in 1924, Thunderhawk is the oldest operating roller coaster in the Cedar Fair chain and one of the oldest in the world still in operation. It was manufactured by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters and designed by Herbert Paul Schmeck, who studied under the legendary John A. Miller and went on to mentor another renowned designer, John C. Allen.

Hydra the Revenge, or simply Hydra, is a Floorless Coaster at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the steel coaster opened to the public on May 7, 2005. Hydra was built on the site of the former wooden coaster Hercules, which was closed and demolished at the end of the park's 2003 season. The ride's name comes from the Greek Mythology story where Hercules battled the Lernaean Hydra.

Hercules was a wooden roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Manufactured by the Dinn Corporation and designed by Curtis D. Summers, the roller coaster opened to the public on May 6, 1989. It set a world record for having the longest drop on a wooden coaster at 151 feet (46 m), surpassing the previous record of 147 feet (45 m) set by American Eagle at Six Flags Great America in 1981. Hercules was the third wooden coaster to be constructed at the park. A scenic railway operated at Dorney from 1905 to 1912. The park's existing wooden coaster, known simply as "Coaster" opened in 1924 and was remodeled in 1930. With the opening of Hercules, the existing coaster was given a formal name — Thunderhawk.

Orefield is a small unincorporated community in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The community is split between North Whitehall and South Whitehall townships. Orefield is part of the Lehigh Valley, which has a population of 861,899 and is the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census. Located along Pennsylvania Route 309, Orefield has the ZIP Code of 18069. Its name is derived from the extensive deposits of limonite (iron ore) once mined here. It was once the terminus of the Siegersville Branch of the Ironton Railroad, which was extended here to haul the ore. Orefield is the former home to Parkland High School. It is located outside of Allentown. Orefield is surrounded by many suburban housing developments, many of which were former farms operated by the Pennsylvania Dutch whose influence in the community is waning. Several covered bridges nearby cross the Jordan Creek. Located near Orefield is a large factory for Alpo a dog food company, which has been owned by the Ralston Purina Company since the 1990s. Also located nearby are the Jaindl turkey farms; Orefield's turkey farms provide the already-slaughtered turkeys that are presented to the president of the United States each Thanksgiving; the live turkeys that are pardoned at the same presentation come from rotating locations). Located in Orefield is Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre, the second drive-in ever built (1934) and America's oldest operating drive-in theater.

Possessed is an Inverted Impulse launched roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Manufactured by Intamin and designed by Werner Stengel, the roller coaster originally debuted at Six Flags Ohio amusement park as Superman: Ultimate Escape on May 5, 2000. After Cedar Fair purchased the park and renamed it back to Geauga Lake in early 2004, the coaster was immediately renamed Steel Venom. The ride closed in 2006 and was moved to Dorney Park. It reopened in 2008 briefly under the name Voodoo, and was renamed Possessed for the 2009 season. The model is identical to five other impulse coaster installations at other amusement parks. A larger version called Wicked Twister was located at Cedar Point until its closure in September 2021.
