WHPE-FM (95.5 MHz) is a radio station licensed to High Point, North Carolina, and serving the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, including Greensboro and Winston-Salem. The station broadcasts a Conservative Christian talk and teaching radio format and is owned by the Charlotte-based Bible Broadcasting Network, which has Christian stations around the U.S. National religious leaders heard on WHPE-FM include Adrian Rogers, Chuck Swindoll, Joni Eareckson Tada and J. Vernon McGee. WHPE-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for non-grandfathered FM stations. In addition, it feeds a network of FM translator stations in North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

Highland Cotton Mills Village Historic District is a historic mill village and national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 177 contributing buildings (165 are mill houses) and 1 contributing structure. They include the two mills and the shipping and packing building at the Highland Cotton Mills, the Highland Cotton Mills Office, the Highland Methodist Church and its parsonage, the Johnson Farm House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Pickett Cotton Mills is a historic industrial property at 1200 Redding Drive in southwestern High Point, North Carolina. The mill complex includes the original 1911 two-story brick-and-concrete mill building, a storage warehouse, office building, and sprinkler house. The Pickett Cotton Mill Company was founded in 1910, and was the first successful textile operation in the city. The mill was closed in 1985 due to stiff foreign competition. The main mill is an exemplary instance of sturdy, high-quality construction of the period, and the office building, which is also typical of the period, is one of the few to survive.The mill property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Carolina Casket Company is a historic industrial property at 812 Millis Street in High Point, North Carolina. The main building on the property is a large three-story L-shaped building, framed in heavy timber and clad in brick. Its main wing is sixteen bays long, the bays separated by brick pilasters with corbelled caps. It was built in 1929 by the Carolina Casket Company, which began as the Rankin Coffin and Casket Company in the early 20th century. The company operated on the premises until about 1940, when it went bankrupt. The building was thereafter occupied for many years by the Carrick Turning Works, a maker of wooden furniture parts.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

O. Arthur Kirkman House and Outbuildings is a historic urban estate located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. Its main house, built in 1913, is a two-story brick dwelling with design elements from the Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman. It has a steep pitched gable roof, wide eaves with decorative brackets, and stained glass windows. In addition, the property displays a contributing detached, single car garage (1913), a brick dog house (1913), a depot (1916-1917), an office (pre-1913), and the former Blair School (c. 1911).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Guilford County Office and Court Building is a historic office and municipal and North Carolina Superior Court courthouse building located at Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1937, and is a two-story, three part, Art Moderne style brick building. It has a stylized entrance with three unornamented pilasters without capitals, which extend above the roofline.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Market Square is a furniture showroom complex in High Point, North Carolina, owned by International Market Centers which is the largest building in North Carolina on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and the sixth largest in the United States. Known also as Tomlinson Chair Manufacturing Company Complex, it was listed on the NRHP under that name. The former manufacturing complex includes the oldest factory building in the city, and its renovation has been credited with making High Point a successful furniture exhibition center. A 16-story addition in 1990 is one of the city's tallest buildings.

West High Street Historic District is a national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 10 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site. The resources were built between 1879 and 1922 and include six houses, three outbuildings, the Kirkman House garden, and the Kirkman Manufacturing Company (1899). Located in the district are the separately listed Blair School and O. Arthur Kirkman House and Outbuildings. Other buildings are the Queen Anne style Annettie Brown House (1897); the Colonial Revival style Fraser-Wilson House (1905) and W. T. Kirkman House (1900); and the brick Colonial Revival / American Craftsman-style O. Arthur Kirkman House (1915).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
