High Point Christian Academy

The Carolina Casket Company is a historic industrial property at 812 Millis Street in High Point, North Carolina. The main building on the property is a large three-story L-shaped building, framed in heavy timber and clad in brick. Its main wing is sixteen bays long, the bays separated by brick pilasters with corbelled caps. It was built in 1929 by the Carolina Casket Company, which began as the Rankin Coffin and Casket Company in the early 20th century. The company operated on the premises until about 1940, when it went bankrupt. The building was thereafter occupied for many years by the Carrick Turning Works, a maker of wooden furniture parts.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The school's offerings include certification tracks in health care and information technology. The school offers certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Microsoft Certified Application Specialist and Microsoft Certified IT Professional. Since 2012, The Academy at Central has exceeded expected growth on North Carolina Standardized tests, and boasts a 100% graduation rate. Beginning in 2015 and again for 2016, The Academy at Central has been named one of the top high schools in the country for economically disadvantaged students by Newsweek magazine. Founded in 2006, the Academy is a Guilford County Schools Early College. Students in 11th and 12th grade take college classes at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown or High Point and earn dual high school and college credit.

High Point Central High School is a public high school located in High Point, North Carolina. The school has a population of approximately 1,237 (2020–2021) students in 9th–12th grades. The school's offerings include Advanced Placement classes and the International Baccalaureate degree program.

The Pickett Cotton Mills is a historic industrial property at 1200 Redding Drive in southwestern High Point, North Carolina. The mill complex includes the original 1911 two-story brick-and-concrete mill building, a storage warehouse, office building, and sprinkler house. The Pickett Cotton Mill Company was founded in 1910, and was the first successful textile operation in the city. The mill was closed in 1985 due to stiff foreign competition. The main mill is an exemplary instance of sturdy, high-quality construction of the period, and the office building, which is also typical of the period, is one of the few to survive.The mill property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The district encompasses 28 contributing buildings in a residential section of High Point developed between 1902 and 1927. They include notable examples of Queen Anne, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

O. Arthur Kirkman House and Outbuildings is a historic urban estate located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. Its main house, built in 1913, is a two-story brick dwelling with design elements from the Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman. It has a steep pitched gable roof, wide eaves with decorative brackets, and stained glass windows. In addition, the property displays a contributing detached, single car garage (1913), a brick dog house (1913), a depot (1916-1917), an office (pre-1913), and the former Blair School (c. 1911).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

West High Street Historic District is a national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 10 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site. The resources were built between 1879 and 1922 and include six houses, three outbuildings, the Kirkman House garden, and the Kirkman Manufacturing Company (1899). Located in the district are the separately listed Blair School and O. Arthur Kirkman House and Outbuildings. Other buildings are the Queen Anne style Annettie Brown House (1897); the Colonial Revival style Fraser-Wilson House (1905) and W. T. Kirkman House (1900); and the brick Colonial Revival / American Craftsman-style O. Arthur Kirkman House (1915).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

High Point Friends School (HPFS), is a Quaker institution in High Point, North Carolina, USA, founded by members of High Point Monthly Meeting in 1963. It is an independent, secondary school serving approximately 109 students, aged 12 months to 8th grade. The school offers a standard learning experience.

The American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA), formerly the American Furniture Manufacturers Association, is an industry trade group which represents manufacturers and importers of home furnishings in the United States. It is based in High Point, North Carolina. The International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA) is a division of the AHFA, as well as the Specialized Furniture Carriers.

Market Square is a furniture showroom complex in High Point, North Carolina, owned by International Market Centers which is the largest building in North Carolina on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and the sixth largest in the United States. Known also as Tomlinson Chair Manufacturing Company Complex, it was listed on the NRHP under that name. The former manufacturing complex includes the oldest factory building in the city, and its renovation has been credited with making High Point a successful furniture exhibition center. A 16-story addition in 1990 is one of the city's tallest buildings.

Truist Point is a baseball stadium located in High Point, North Carolina and is home to the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The ballpark is bordered by Elm, English, Gatewood and Lindsay streets. Truist (formerly BB&T Corporation) is paying $500,000 annually for 15 years for the naming rights.The stadium hosted its first official event on May 2, 2019, as the High Point Rockers defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters in their first ever Opening Day game.The ballpark was renamed from BB&T Point to Truist Point in June 2020 due to the 2019 merger of BB&T and SunTrust Banks to form Truist.The ballpark has also been home to collegiate summer baseball teams in the Old North State League (ONSL): the Deep River Muddogs in 2020 and the High Point Hushpuppies in 2021.In 2021, North Carolina Fusion U23's men's and women's teams began playing some games at Truist Point.
