Benjamin W. Davidson House, also known as Oak Lawn, is a historic plantation house located near Huntersville, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built about 1820, and is a two-story, five-bay, Georgian / Federal style frame dwelling. It has gable roof and exterior brick end chimneys. The front facade have one-story, three-bay, hipped roof porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Potts Plantation is a historic plantation complex and national historic district located near Cornelius, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 11 contributing buildings, 12 contributing sites, and 4 contributing structures in rural Mecklenburg County. The plantation seat was built in 1811, and consists of a two-story, three-bay, weatherboarded log house on a low brick foundation with flanking one-story wings added in 1947. The house has Federal, Late Victorian, and Colonial Revival style design elements. Associated with the plantation seat are the contributing smokehouse (c. 1811 – 1820), dependency, poultry house (c. 1920 – 1940), double-pen log barn work area, and corn crib (c. 1900 – 1920). Other notable contributing resources are the Slave Cemetery, five tenant complexes, the Smith Cottage Complex (c. 1891 – 1961), Smith Cottage (c. 1891), and Potts Cemetery (1946). The Potts Plantation has been the property of the Potts family since 1753.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Cedar Grove is a historic plantation house located near Huntersville, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built between 1831 and 1833, and is a two-story, five bay by three bay, Greek Revival style brick mansion. It has gable roof and features high stepped brick end parapets that incorporate chimneys. The front and rear facades have one-story, three bay porches supported by stuccoed brick Doric order columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Cedar Grove Plantation is a historic house located in Huntersville, North Carolina. It was the home of James G. Torrance, a planter living in central Mecklenburg County. It is currently privately owned, and is closed to the public. The plantation was named for its location in the midst of a grove of Cedar trees.

Mr. Parker was sentenced to 5 years in prison on November 30 of the same year. The following December, former pastor of the associated church and founder of the school, Wade Malloy, pleaded guilty to wire fraud for helping Parker steal the money. Malloy was sentenced and has served time.

Chairman Blake House is a historic private home located at Davidson, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was built about 1860, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, five-bay, double pile Greek Revival style frame dwelling with a one-story rear ell. It has steep side gable roof, four brick interior chimneys, and weatherboard sheathing. It features porches on the front and rear facades supported by Tuscan order columns. It was moved to its present location in October 2000. It was the home of Professor John Rennie Blake (1825–1900), who is believed to have occupied the house throughout his tenure at Davidson College, 1861–1885. Today, the home is privately owned.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
