Hernani is a town and municipality located in the province of Gipuzkoa, Basque Autonomous Community, Spain. The town sits on the left bank of the Urumea river. It is located at a distance of 9.2 km from San Sebastián. The municipality of Hernani occupies an area of approximately 40 square kilometres and is bordered by San Sebastián, Astigarraga, Arano, Elduayen, Errenteria, Lasarte-Oria and Urnieta. From the town centre, at the foot of Mount Santa Barbara, it is possible to see a large area of the valley of Urumea. Its festivities, held between 23 and 27 June in honour of John the Baptist; and between his celebrations the popular "azeri dantza" (also celebrated in celebrations of Carnival) should be emphasized. The title character of Victor Hugo's play Hernani is named after the town.

The Basque Culinary Center, based in San Sebastián, in the Basque region of Spain, is a culinary foundation created in 2009 by Mondragon University and a group of prominent Basque chefs as a training, research and innovation project, aimed at developing the culinary sector, with the idea of relating cooking with management, science and other disciplines. It includes a number of facilities, with the Anoeta Stadium standing out as its main sports ground, home to the Spanish football premier league's team Real Sociedad.

Anoeta Stadium (Spanish: Estadio de Anoeta), currently known as the Reale Arena for sponsorship purposes, is a football stadium in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain that was inaugurated in 1993. 2005 World Masters Athletics Championships is the sixteenth in a series of World Masters Athletics Outdoor Championships that took place in San Sebastián (Basque: Donostia), Spain from 22 August to 3 September 2005. The main venue was Anoeta Stadium, : 1  which had its running track removed after renovations in 2017. Some stadia events were held at the adjacent Miniestadio de Anoeta within the same sports complex. Non-stadia venues included Estadio Daniel Hernani (Pista de Hernani) for throwing events, : 14  and LaSarte Racetrack (Donostia Hippodrome) for Cross Country. : 12 This Championships was organized by World Masters Athletics (WMA) in coordination with a Local Organising Committee (LOC). The WMA is the global governing body of the sport of athletics for athletes 35 years of age or older, setting rules for masters athletics competition. The starting age had been 35 years for women and 40 years for men in previous editions in this series, but the men minimum age was reduced to 35 at the General Assembly of the 2003 Championships. : 17 In addition to a full range of track and field events, non-stadia events included 8K Cross Country, 10K Race Walk (women), 20K Race Walk (men), and Marathon.

It is primarily used for basketball and the home stadium of Askatuak SBT, San Sebastián Gipuzkoa BC and CD Ibaeta. The arena holds 2,500 people. Formerly known as Polideportivo de Anoeta, it was renamed after José Antonio Gasca on February 25, 1992.

Anoeta is a railway station in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. It is owned by Euskal Trenbide Sarea and operated by Euskotren. It lies on the San Sebastián-Hendaye railway, popularly known as the Topo line. It primarily serves the nearby Anoeta Stadium.
