New Hope, Pennsylvania

New Hope is a heritage railroad station on the New Hope Railroad in New Hope, Pennsylvania, United States.

The Bucks County Playhouse is located in New Hope, Pennsylvania. When the Hope Mills burned in 1790, Benjamin Parry rebuilt the grist mills as the New Hope Mills. The town was renamed for the mills. The building was saved from demolition in the 1930s. It was purchased and run by a group of people including playwrights Moss Hart and Kenyon Nicholson. Renovations converting the building into a theater began in 1938. The first production at the new Bucks County Playhouse was Springtime for Henry featuring Edward Everett Horton. It opened on July 1, 1939. The Bucks County Playhouse became a summer theater. It was the starting point for many actors and became a place where plays slated for Broadway were tried out. Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park, starring Robert Redford and Elizabeth Ashley, had its premiere at the theater in 1963. Other notable actors who performed at the theater over the years include Bela Lugosi, Dick Van Dyke, Tyne Daly, Grace Kelly, Angela Lansbury, and Walter Matthau.The Bucks County Playhouse Conservancy, a public/private partnership, raised sufficient funds to regain the property following a 2010 foreclosure. Following an extensive renovation, the theater reopened on July 2, 2012. It is a member company of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.

Aquetong Creek is a tributary of the Delaware River in Solebury Township and New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Rising from the Aquetong Spring, now known as Ingham Spring, just south of the intersection of U.S. Route 202, Lower Mountain Road, and Ingham Road, it runs about 10.75 miles (17.30 km) to its confluence with the Delaware.

The current steel truss bridge was constructed in 1904 at a cost of $63,818.81. It is owned and maintained as a toll-free bridge by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Lambertville House is located in Lambertville, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1812 by Captain John Lambert and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 6, 1978.

The James W. Marshall House, located at 60 Bridge Street in the city of Lambertville in Hunterdon County, United States, was the boyhood home of James W. Marshall. Marshall's discovery of gold in the American River in California in January 1848 set the stage for the California Gold Rush. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 1970, for its significance in architecture and history. It now serves as the headquarters for the Lambertville Historical Society, and is open to the public as an historic house museum.

New Hope-Solebury High School is a public high school located at 182 West Bridge Street in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The school's mascot is the Lion, and its colors are royal blue and gold. It is located in the New Hope-Solebury School District. The school houses grades 9 through 12, and largely receives students from New Hope-Solebury Middle School. The school has approximately 500 students. They are currently ranked tenth in the state of Pennsylvania by the U.S. News & World Report. Patrick Sasse is the current principal of New Hope-Solebury High School.

Cintra is a historic home located at New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The house was built in 1824, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, L-shaped, stuccoed stone dwelling with a hipped roof. It has a central hub flanked by two identical wings, and is said to have been designed after a Portuguese palace.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Kalmia Club is a women's club established in 1892 in the city of Lambertville in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. It has used the house at 39 York Street as its clubhouse since 1893. The Italianate wood-frame house was built around 1870 and expanded in 1882. It was listed as a contributing property of the Lambertville Historic District on June 30, 1983. It was later added individually to the National Register of Historic Places on April 16, 2012, for its significance in education, entertainment, and social history. The Kalmia Club was listed as part of the Clubhouses of New Jersey Women's Clubs Multiple Property Submission (MPS).
