Pondok Aren (abbreviated as Pd Aren) is a district in the city of South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. It is located on the south-western outskirts of Jakarta. The area covers 29.88 km2 and had a population at the 2020 Census of 294,996. Pondok Aren district mainly covers the area of Bintaro Jaya and borders South Jakarta to the east. Pondok Aren district office is located at Jl. Graha Raya Bintaro, Perigi Baru behind the Pondok Aren Sectoral Police office (Polsek Pondok Aren). Sectors 3-9 housing of Bintaro Jaya real estate lies in this area, while sectors 1-2 of Bintaro Jaya is already partly demographically located in South Jakarta and East Ciputat district.

The Global Jaya School (GJS) is an International School in Indonesia, located in the outskirts of Jakarta in Pondok Aren district, South Tangerang in the Sector 9 Bintaro Jaya area. The school was established in 1995. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. The school was also previously known as "Sekolah Global Jaya" (SGJ) and "Global Jaya International School" (GJIS). Since the presidency of Joko Widodo in Indonesia, the school is now known as "Global Jaya School". Global Jaya School offers three International Baccalaureate programmes: the Primary Years Programme, Middle School Programme, and Diploma Programme. The school is a non-denominational community.

Perigi Lama, Parigi Lama, or simply Perigi is a kelurahan (village) at Pondok Aren district, South Tangerang, Banten. Perigi Lama in Indonesian means "Old Perigi" because the neighboring kelurahan/village is called Perigi Baru which in opposite means "New Perigi".

South Tangerang (Indonesian: Tangerang Selatan) is a city in the province of Banten, Indonesia. Located 30 km (19 mi) on the southwestern border of Jakarta, the city forms part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area. It was administratively separated from Tangerang Regency on 26 November 2008. According to the 2020 Census, the city population was 1,354,350 inhabitants, while the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 1,378,466. The total area is 164.85 km2 (63.65 sq mi). It's the second-largest city in Banten (after Tangerang city immediately to its north) in terms of population, and has grown rapidly, not only as Jakarta's satellite city, but also the development of business districts and commerce due to presence of large-scale planned town by private developers. South Tangerang is home to some planned towns built by private developers, the notable ones are Alam Sutera (in North Serpong), BSD City (in Serpong and Setu), and Bintaro Jaya (in Pondok Aren and Ciputat), complete with facilities such as business centres, shopping malls, and international schools. Currently, its average land price is the most expensive among Jakarta's satellite cities.

Sudimara Station (SDM) is a class II railway station located in Jombang, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The station, which is located at an altitude of +26 m, is included in the Operation Area I Jakarta, and is located between Jurangmangu Station and Rawa Buntu Station.

Jurangmangu Station (JMG) is a class III railway station located in Sawah Lama, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The station is located at the elevation of +25 metres above sea level, is included in the Operation Area I Jakarta. Even though it is called Jurangmangu, this station is not located in Jurangmangu Village, Pondok Aren District, but is located in the south of Jurangmangu village itself. Jurangmangu is one of two stations serving the Bintaro housing area, along with Pondok Ranji, located about 2 kilometers northeast. It is also located near the Bintaro XChange mall.

St. Ursula BSD is a Catholic private school, from Pre-kindergarten to Year 12, located in Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tangerang, Indonesia. The school was established in 1990. St. Ursula BSD is coeducational, different from St. Ursula Girls' School in Jakarta, Indonesia. Their logo called Serviam means "I serve". St. Ursula BSD is one of the top Catholic schools in Tangerang, often ranked among the best high schools in the country.

Pondok Ranji Station (PRJ) is a railway station on the KRL Commuterline Green Line in East Ciputat, South Tangerang. On August 20, 2020, Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, attended the Groundbreaking New Image and Accessibility Improvement of Pondok Ranji Station. The inauguration is the start of the construction or renovation of Pondok Ranji station. In January 2022, the renovations have finished and Pondok Ranji station has a new shape.The station is located at the elevation of +25 metres above sea level. Pondok Ranji is one of two stations serving the Bintaro housing area, along with Jurangmangu, located about 2 kilometers southwest.

Bintaro Jaya is a planned township located in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. It is developed by PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (formerly PT Bintaro Jaya). The development of the township began within South Jakarta in 1979 and is expanded further to South Tangerang in Banten province. The township is built as a satellite city for Jakarta, with a total land area of about 1000 hectares. The name Bintaro is derived from the Bintaro Village, which also takes the name of Bintaro plant (Cerbera manghas), whereas Jaya came from the name of the developer.

Rawa Buntu Station (RU) is a class III railway station located in Rawa Buntu, Serpong, South Tangerang. This station is included in the Operational Area I Jakarta, and is located adjacent to the planned city complex Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD). This station is not far from the Serpong exit on the west Jakarta–Serpong Toll Road. In addition, the station is strategically located because it is close to a residential complex in the Serpong area.

Budi Luhur University is a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia. Founded on 1 April 1979 by Dr. Djaetun HS.. This university is now running under Budi Luhur Cakti Education Foundation (Yayasan Pendidikan Budi Luhur Cakti).
