Porthmeor (from Cornish: Porth Meur, meaning "large cove") is a hamlet that consists of two farms, Higher and Lower Porthmeor, in the parish of Zennor in Cornwall, England. It should not be confused with Porthmeor beach at St Ives. Higher Porthmeor lies along the B3306 road which connects St Ives to the A30 road and Lower Porthmeor is nearer the coast.Porthmeor lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.

Treen (Cornish: Tredhin) is a hamlet in the parish of Zennor, on the north coast of the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It lies along the B3306 road which connects St Ives to the A30 road. At Gurnard's Head nearby on the coast is one of the many cliff castles on the Cornish coast which was formerly a Coastguard Lookout. To the east of Gurnard's Head is Treen Cove. The area is owned by the National Trust. The Gurnard's Head Hotel is situated on the B3306 and in the 1960s was noted for a totem pole at the front of the building. It is not to be confused with the larger village of Treen on the south coast of the Penwith peninsula, less than 10 miles away.

Boswednack is a hamlet in the parish of Zennor near the north coast of the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is located along the B3306 road southwest of Zennor. Boswednack was home to a small community of Cornish speakers during the 19th century. These included John Davey Jnr., 1812-1891, and his father, as well as Anne Berryman (1766-1854), and John Mann (1834-1914). John Mann recalled in an interview that, when a child, he and several other children always conversed in Cornish while at play together. It is from John Davey that we know the Cranken Rhyme, probably the last recorded piece of traditional Late Cornish verse. The hamlet contains Boswednack Manor and Treen Manor which in 1814 were both owned by William Arundell Harris. Treen Manor, in the nearby hamlet of Treen is now a pub and Boswednack Manor is now run as a bed & breakfast, with a "slight Bohemian-style".

Boskednan stone circle (grid reference SW434351) is a partially restored prehistoric stone circle near Boskednan, around 4 miles (6.4 kilometres) northwest of the town of Penzance in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The megalithic monument is traditionally known as the Nine Maidens or Nine Stones of Boskednan, although the original structure may have contained as many as 22 upright stones around its 69-metre perimeter.

Bodrifty is the modern name of an Iron Age village, now in ruins, in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is 700 yards west of Mulfra Hill in Penwith District, 3 miles northwest of Penzance and 1.5 miles southwest of Porthmeor, on the high ground of the watershed between the Atlantic and the English Channel. Today the settlement is barely more than a farm within the boundary of the village of New Mill, just north of Boskednan.

Boskednan (Cornish: Boskednan) is a hamlet near Mulfra Hill northwest of Penzance in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in the civil parish of Madron. The Boskednan stone circle, also called the Nine Maidens of Boskednan, is nearby. The stone circle was built in either the Neolithic or Bronze Age period.

Treen Cove (grid reference SW435383) is a tidal beach on the north coast of the Penwith peninsula, Cornwall, England, UK. It is about half a mile northwest of the hamlet of Treen, and nestles between Lean Point to the east and Gurnard's Head to the west. The name of this cove is from the Cornish 'tre' (farm, settlement) and 'din' (fort), referring to the adjacent Iron Age promontory fort at Gurnard's Head.Francis Kilvert reported that on 29 July 1870 in Treen Cove ″Fishing boats lay up in this cove, sheltered from the stormy sea by a large guardian-rock.″

Mên Scryfa (or Mên Scrifa, literally "stone with writing") is an inscribed standing stone in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom (grid reference SW427353). The inscription, dating to the early medieval period, commemorates "Rialobranus son of Cunovalus."

The Ding Dong mines lie in an old and extensive mining area situated in the parish of Madron, in Penwith, Cornwall, England. They are about two miles north east of the St Just to Penzance road. They look out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount to the south west. Since 2006 the site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, part of Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape.

Mulfra Quoit (grid reference SW451353) is a Neolithic dolmen in the county of Cornwall in England. It stands on Mulfra Hill to the north of the hamlet of Mulfra.

Veor Cove (grid reference SW444388) is a beach in Cornwall, UK. It is about 1 mile northwest of the village of Zennor, and immediately to the west of Pendour Cove. The name of this cove is from the Cornish 'veor' meaning large or great.
