Mulfra Quoit

Bodrifty is the modern name of an Iron Age village, now in ruins, in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is 700 yards west of Mulfra Hill in Penwith District, 3 miles northwest of Penzance and 1.5 miles southwest of Porthmeor, on the high ground of the watershed between the Atlantic and the English Channel. Today the settlement is barely more than a farm within the boundary of the village of New Mill, just north of Boskednan.

Carfury is a hamlet in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated in Penwith approximately three miles (5 km) northwest of Penzance. It is in the civil parish of Madron The 19th-century geologist Elizabeth Carne founded a school in Carfury.There are three listed buildings in Carfury, all Grade II: Carfury farmhouse and its front garden walls, farm buildings west of Carfury farmhouse, and a piggery north of the farmhouse.

New Mill (Newmill on Ordnance Survey maps) is a small settlement in west Cornwall, England. It is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Penzance on the road to Gurnard's Head.

Carfury Standing Stone is a standing stone in Penwith, Cornwall, about 4km northwest of Penzance. Also called Cuckoo Rock, the stone stands around 3m tall and is 0.7m wide by 0.4m thick.The site was excavated between 31 December 1957 and 3 January 1958 by Peter Pool and Vivien Russell which found the stone had been erected in an elliptical pit and wedged in place using small stones. Little else was found but Russell did note a potential sister stone downhill which "would make a monument very similar to the Cuckoo Rock".The stone was designated a Scheduled Monument in June 1968.It is within sight of Ding Dong Mine.

Boskednan stone circle (grid reference SW434351) is a partially restored prehistoric stone circle near Boskednan, around 4 miles (6.4 kilometres) northwest of the town of Penzance in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The megalithic monument is traditionally known as the Nine Maidens or Nine Stones of Boskednan, although the original structure may have contained as many as 22 upright stones around its 69-metre perimeter.

Madron Well and Madron Well Chapel is a scheduled Ancient Monument in the civil parish of Madron, Cornwall, UK. Madron Well Chapel (grid reference SW446328) is the ruin of a 12th- or 14th-century chapel dedicated to St Madern and occupies the site of a much older Celtic structure. Madron Well (grid reference SW445327) is a spring 200 m to the west. Clouties, or offerings, can be seen on the path to the chapel, near the holy well.

The Ding Dong mines lie in an old and extensive mining area situated in the parish of Madron, in Penwith, Cornwall, England. They are about two miles north east of the St Just to Penzance road. They look out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount to the south west. Since 2006 the site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, part of Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape.

Bosiliack is a small farming hamlet in the civil parish of Madron, Cornwall, UK. The hamlet is located between Madron and Morvah. The hamlet contains several places of interest including Bosiliack Barrow, a Neolithic burial chamber; Ding Dong Mine, one of the oldest mines in the UK; and Carfury Standing Stone.

Boswednack is a hamlet in the parish of Zennor near the north coast of the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is located along the B3306 road southwest of Zennor. Boswednack was home to a small community of Cornish speakers during the 19th century. These included John Davey Jnr., 1812-1891, and his father, as well as Anne Berryman (1766-1854), and John Mann (1834-1914). John Mann recalled in an interview that, when a child, he and several other children always conversed in Cornish while at play together. It is from John Davey that we know the Cranken Rhyme, probably the last recorded piece of traditional Late Cornish verse. The hamlet contains Boswednack Manor and Treen Manor which in 1814 were both owned by William Arundell Harris. Treen Manor, in the nearby hamlet of Treen is now a pub and Boswednack Manor is now run as a bed & breakfast, with a "slight Bohemian-style".
