St Loy's Cove is a small wooded valley and beach in the civil parish of St Buryan in Cornwall, England, UK. It is located two miles to the south of St Buryan churchtown, and between Penberth and Lamorna. There are just a few buildings in the cove, one of which, Cove Cottage, provides bed and breakfast and a cafe. St Loy's is within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the Boscawen SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and is part of a GCR Geological Conservation Review site. The South West Coast Path passes through the cove.

The Tregiffian Burial Chamber (Cornish: Hirvedh Treguhyon) is a Neolithic or early Bronze Age chambered tomb. It is near Lamorna in west Cornwall, United Kingdom (grid reference SW430244). It is a rare form of a passage grave, known as an Entrance grave. It has an entrance passage, lined with stone slabs, which leads into a central chamber. This type of tomb is also found in the neighbouring Isles of Scilly.

The Merry Maidens (grid reference SW432245), also known as Dawn's Men (a likely corruption of the Cornish Dons Men "Stone Dance") is a late neolithic stone circle located 2 miles (3 km) to the south of the village of St Buryan, in Cornwall. A pair of standing stones, The Pipers is associated both geographically and in legend.

Boleigh Fogou is a fogou near St. Buryan in Cornwall. It can be reached via the B3315 Penzance to Land's End road near The Pipers standing stones. Iron Age pottery was found at the fogou along with carvings that may have been brought from elsewhere. It is unusual in structure as it has more than one entranceway.The Boleigh fogou was the subject of a 1996 episode of Channel 4's Time Team.

Tater Du Lighthouse is Cornwall's most recently built lighthouse. The construction of the lighthouse came out of the tragedy of losing a small Spanish coaster called the Juan Ferrer on 23 October 1963, on the nearby Boscawen Point, the vessel capsized with the loss of 11 lives. After the tragedy the Newlyn and Mousehole Fishermen's Association put pressure on Trinity House for a lighthouse to be built, stating that similar tragedies could happen again. The lighthouse, built with concrete blocks, was first lit in July 1965.

St Buryan (Cornish: Pluwveryan) is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of St Buryan, Lamorna and Paul in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. In 2011 the parish had a population of 1412. The village of St Buryan is situated approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Penzance along the B3283 towards Land's End. Three further minor roads also meet at St Buryan, two link the village with the B3315 towards Lamorna, and the third rejoins the A30 at Crows-an-Wra.St Buryan parish encompassed the villages of St. Buryan, Lamorna, and Crows-an-Wra and shared boundaries with the parishes of Sancreed and St Just to the north, Sennen and St Levan (with which it has close ties) to the west, with Paul to the east and by the sea in the south. An electoral parish also exists stretching from Land's End to the north coast but avoiding St Just. The population of this ward at the 2011 census was 4,589.Named after the Irish Saint Buriana, the parish is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a popular tourist destination. It has been a designated conservation area since 1990 and is near many sites of special scientific interest in the surrounding area. The parish is dotted with evidence of Neolithic activity, from stone circles and Celtic crosses to burial chambers and ancient holy wells. The village of St Buryan itself is also a site of special historic interest, and contains many listed buildings including the famous grade I listed church. The bells of St Buryan's Church, which have recently undergone extensive renovation, are the heaviest full circle peal of six anywhere in the world. The parish also has a strong cultural heritage. Many painters of the Newlyn School including Samuel John "Lamorna" Birch were based at Lamorna in the south-east of the parish. St Buryan Village Hall was also the former location of Pipers Folk Club, created in the late 1960s by celebrated Cornish singer Brenda Wootton.

Tregurnow is a settlement in St Buryan civil parish on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. At Tregurnow farm is an interesting Celtic cross from the medieval period similar to ones found on the Isle of Man. Tregurnow also gives its name to the site of a stone circle that previously stood in the area at grid reference SW 43818 24523 and the cliffs above Lamorna Cove also bear the same name.

Penberth (Cornish: Benbryhi) is a valley, coastal village and cove on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England. It is approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Penzance. Most of the village is within the parish of St Buryan and the boundary with St Levan follows the Penberth river.Penberth Cove was once home to a pilchard fishing industry and is one of the last remaining traditional fishing coves in Cornwall, with a handful of local fishermen still making their living from fishing for mackerel, lobster and crab. There was also a cut flower industry, the produce being sent to London via train from Penzance.The pilchards caught at Penberth Cove were pressed on site for their oil and to preserve them in the Big Cellar at the back of the cove. Penberth's first regatta was held on Saturday, 27 August 1881. There were races for 20 feet (6.1 m) and 18 feet (5.5 m) boats to the Runnel Stone and back, rowing races for 4-oared ″crabbers″, sculling races for punts, a 400 yards (370 m) swimming race and the greasy pole contest with a leg of mutton dangling from the top. There was also a duck hunt, where three birds ″were flung″; one of the birds was difficult to catch and was allowed to escape. Music was provided by the Buryan Artillery Volunteers.The local community radio station is Coast FM (formerly Penwith Radio), which broadcasts on 96.5 and 97.2 FM.
