The Exposición Station (Spanish: Terminal Exposición) is a terminal station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located on Juárez and Exposición Avenues in the La Hacienda neighborhood in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as the eastern end point or terminus of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station is named after the Cattle State Exposition Show grounds (Expo Ganadera de N.L.) that are located just beside the station, and its logo represents the head of a bovine.This station is the eastern terminal of Line 1, and is multimodal: it connects with Metrobús lines that serve areas including Cadereyta and Cd. Benito Juarez and also with Transmetro (see below).

Guadalupe is a city and surrounding municipality located in the state of Nuevo León, in northern Mexico. It is part of the Greater Monterrey Metropolitan area. The municipality of Guadalupe, which lies adjacent to the east side of Monterrey, also borders the municipalities of San Nicolás de los Garza, Apodaca, Pesquería, and Juárez. Covering a territory of 151.3 km2 (58.4 sq mi), it is located at 25°40′39″N 100°15′35″W, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. As of the 2005 census its official population was 691,434 in the city and 691,931 in the entire municipality. It is the second-largest city and municipality in the state. The municipality has an area of 151.3 km2 (58.4 sq mi) (58.42 sq mi). The city was founded on January 4, 1716, but the land was inhabited long before that. When Monterrey was founded in 1596, the land, which was populated by various indigenous tribes, was ceded to Diego de Montemayor, the founder of Monterrey, but he did not make use of the land. In 1627, the land was turned into large plantations, where sugar cane and corn was raised. The owner of the land during around the time of the turn of the 18th century was named Capitán Nicolás Ochoa de Elejalde, but the land was taken from him by the Spanish government and converted into a mission in February, 1715. In 1756, the city was renamed the "Pueblo de la Nueva Tlaxcala de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe de Horcasitas". On March 5, 1825, the city was declared a municipality of Nuevo León and categorized as a villa, even though for many years it continued to be called the "Villa de Guadalupe".

The Eloy Cavazos Station (Spanish: Estación Eloy Cavazos) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located on Avenue Juarez next to the Santa Catarina river in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.

The 11th federal electoral district of Nuevo León (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 11 de Nuevo León) is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 14 such districts in the state of Nuevo León. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the second region. The 11th district was created by the 1977 electoral reforms and was first contested in the 1979 mid-term election. Pedro Garza Treviño of the National Action Party (PAN) was re-elected for the district in the 2024 general election, but requested an indefinite leave of absence from his congressional duties on 2 April 2025. He was replaced by his daughter and alternate, Samantha Margarita Garza de la Garza.

The current member for the district, elected in the 2024 general election, is Adriana Quiroz Gallegos of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena).

The Estadio BBVA, nicknamed "El Gigante de Acero" (Spanish for "The Steel Giant"), formerly known as the Estadio BBVA Bancomer, is a stadium developed by FEMSA and C.F. Monterrey in Guadalupe, Greater Monterrey. The stadium replaced the Estadio Tecnológico as the home of Monterrey, ending 63 years of residency at that stadium. The project was met with controversy, stemming from multiple accusations of the construction as an apparent impediment to wildlife growth on a local scale by deforesting 24.5 hectares of forest neighboring a natural protected area that houses 106 animal species, including 8 endangered or protected species such as the yellow headed parrot. It was inaugurated on 2 August 2015 with the eighth edition of the Eusébio Cup, where Monterrey defeated Benfica 3–0. The stadium is expected to host matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Nuevo León Institute of Technology (Spanish: Instituto Tecnológico de Nuevo León), or ITNL is an institution of higher education in Guadalupe, Nuevo Léon, México. This school was founded in 1976 in Apodaca, but later was moved to Monterrey and finally to Guadalupe. The ITNL offers 4 bachelor's degrees and 1 master's degree in mechatronic.

The Y Griega Station (Spanish: Estación Y Griega) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro, a light rail system in Monterrey, Mexico. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station is named after the Y-junction that Avenues Colón and Madero make, and its logo represents it in the form of a letter "Y". The Y Griega station is a major transfer station as many buses that service communities off the Metropolitan area such as Pesquería connect to the Metro system at the Y Griega station. A bus line operated by the Nuevo Leon State Government called the Ruta Express (Express Route) operates from this station to the airport. The Y Griega station also serves the Fundidora Park.This station is in the Acero neighborhood (Colonia Acero) and it is close to Parque Fundidora.

Auditorio Citibanamex (formerly named Auditorio Coca-Cola, Auditorio Fundidora and Auditorio Banamex) is an indoor amphitheatre, located in Fundidora Park, in Monterrey, Nuevo León. It was the primary venue for concerts until the Arena Monterrey opened in 2003. The amphitheatre opened in 1994 with a sponsorship by The Coca-Cola Company. When the venue was used less frequently, Mexican financial group Grupo Financiero Banamex, became its new sponsor with a $20 million investment. The venue closed for nearly two years to set forth renovations, which included updating the overall structure of the venue, converting it to an indoor amphitheatre. Additional upgrades included showrooms, a lounge along with other recreational areas. The venue reopened in September 2010 with a three-month-long celebration, featuring concerts by: Vicente Fernández, Alejandra Guzmán, Chayanne, Marco Antonio Solís and Miguel Bosé. The amphitheatre is used for mid-sized concerts, attracting numerous international performers every year.

The Tecate/Telmex Grand Prix of Monterrey was a round of the Champ Car World Series held on a street circuit at Fundidora park in Monterrey, Mexico. It was first held in 2001, and it was held for the last time in 2006.

The Museum of Steel, known as the Museo del Acero, is located in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. The Museo del Acero is one of the largest museums ever created in Mexico. It is located on the site of the very large Fundidora steel plant that was decommissioned in the mid 1980s. For 80 years, the Fundidora plant was an important part of the economic and social fabric of this city of 3.7 million people, and its conversion to a major educational facility has been very well received. The new museum, built in and around a decommissioned blast furnace, has emerged as a new focal point for the region The newly restored 230-foot (70 m)-high blast furnace Horno No. 3, the city’s most recognizable icon dominating the Monterrey skyline, makes the museum unique. The Oficina de Arquitectura partnered with Grimshaw Architects and exhibit designers AldrichPears Associates to create a museum, while preserving its historical character. New galleries include: Gallery of History, Gallery of Steel, The Blast Furnace Show and the Cast Hall. The Museo del Acero opened in the Fundidora Park in the fall of 2007.

The 2005 Tecate/Telmex Monterrey Grand Prix was the second round of the 2005 Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford season, held on May 22, 2005 on the streets of Fundidora Park in Monterrey, Mexico. Sébastien Bourdais was the polesitter and the race winner was Bruno Junqueira. The race was Junqueria's eighth and last victory in an American open wheel racing event. Junqueria was seriously injured in a crash at the 2005 Indianapolis 500 the following weekend and missed the rest of the Champ Car season.
