Malo Središte

The Središte Monastery (Serbian: Манастир Средиште, romanized: Manastir Središte) is a Serb Orthodox monastery located in the Banat region, in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina. The monastery is situated near the villages of Malo Središte and Veliko Središte, in the Vršac municipality. It was built in the late 15th century by Despot Jovan Brankovic.

The Vršac Mountains (Serbian: Vršačke planine, Serbian Cyrillic: Вршачке планине, Romanian: Munții Vârșeț), also known as Vršac Hill (Serbian: Vršački breg, Serbian Cyrillic: Вршачки брег, Romanian: Dealurile Vârșețului), are located in the Banat region near the city of Vršac, Serbia, and partially also in Romania. They represent an independent and distinct massif, 19 kilometres (12 mi) long and spreading across an area of 170 km2 (66 sq mi), of which 122 km2 (47 sq mi) belong to Serbia and 48 km2 (19 sq mi) to Romania.

The Mesić Monastery (Serbian: Манастир Месић, romanized: Manastir Mesić; Romanian: Manastirea Mesici) is a Serb Orthodox monastery situated in the Banat region, in the province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The monastery is situated near the village of Mesić, in the Vršac municipality. It was founded in the 15th century, although legend holds that it was built in 1225 by Arsenije Bogdanović of the Hilandar. Mesić Monastery was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and it is protected by Serbia.

Mesić (Serbian Cyrillic: Месић; Romanian: Mesici; Hungarian: Meszesfalu) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Vršac municipality, in the South Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Romanian (87.22%) ethnic majority and its population numbering 202 people (2011 census). The village is best known for the Serbian Orthodox Mesić Monastery.

Vršac Castle (Serbian: Вршачки замак, Vršački zamak) formerly known as Vršac Tower (Serbian: Вршачка кула, Vršačka kula), is a medieval fortress near Vršac, Vojvodina, Serbia. Only Donjon tower remained from the entire complex, but in 2009 reconstruction started, to recreate the entire Vršac Castle. Vršac Castle was declared a Monument of Culture of Great Importance in 1991, and is protected by the Republic of Serbia.

Jablanka (Serbian Cyrillic: Јабланка; Romanian: Iablanca; Hungarian: Almád) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Vršac municipality, in the South Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Romanian ethnic majority (67.97%) and its population numbering 247 people (2011 census).

Vršac Airfield (Serbian: Аеродром Вршац / Aerodrom Vršac) (ICAO: LYVR) is a small aerodrome and training facility owned and operated by the SMATSA Aviation Academy, and located in Vršac, Serbia. There are five hangars at the airfield, which accommodate aircraft of the flight school and of the agricultural aviation division. An office building with classrooms and a control tower are adjacent to the hangars and the concrete aircraft apron.

The Millennium Centar (Serbian: Центар Миленијум, Centar Milenijum) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in the city of Vršac. It is the home ground of basketball club KK Vršac and ŽKK Vršac and has a capacity of 4,400 seats. The arena is also used for concerts and other live entertainment.

Vršac (Serbian Cyrillic: Вршац, pronounced [ʋr̩̂ʃat͡s]; Hungarian: Versec; Romanian: Vârșeț) is a city in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. As of 2022, the city urban area had a population of 31,946, while the city administrative area had 45,462 inhabitants. It is located in the geographical region of Banat.

Sowing and Harvesting and Market, popularly referred to as the Vršac triptych, is a three-panel oil painting by the Serbian realist Paja Jovanović. Painted around 1895, it shows the everyday interactions of the inhabitants of Vršac, a multi-ethnic and multi-religious town in the Banat region of Austria-Hungary of which Jovanović was a native. The painting was commissioned by the Vršac city council in 1895 for the following year's Budapest Millennium Exhibition. The triptych's centre panel measures 200 by 200 centimetres (79 by 79 in) and the two side panels measure 200 by 100 centimetres (79 by 39 in) each. The left panel is a market scene, the centre panel shows peasants harvesting grapes from a row of vines and the one to the right is an image of a farmer sharpening his scythe as two others labour in the background. The triptych was originally intended to be displayed alongside another one of Jovanović's paintings, Migration of the Serbs, which had been commissioned by the Patriarchate of Karlovci. The Patriarch's dissatisfaction with the latter and his insistence that it be altered to his liking resulted in only the Vršac triptych being sent to Budapest, as Jovanović was not able to make the necessary revisions to Migration of the Serbs in time. The triptych was met with acclaim at the Exhibition and Jovanović was awarded a gold medal for his work, with critics praising his mastery of pleinairism. The painting is now on permanent exhibition at the Vršac City Museum.

Kuštilj (Serbian Cyrillic: Куштиљ; Romanian: Coștei; Hungarian: Mélykastély) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Vršac municipality, in the South Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Romanian ethnic majority (95.16%) and its population numbering 664 people (2011 census).

Vojvodinci (Serbian Cyrillic: Војводинци; Romanian: Voivodinț; Hungarian: Vajdalak) is a village in Serbia. It is situated in the Vršac municipality, South Banat District, Vojvodina province. The village has a Romanian ethnic majority (87.76%) and its population numbering 328 people (2011 census).
