Westminster Law School (WLS) is the law school of the University of Westminster. Located at Little Titchfield Street near Regent Street in central London. It awards LLB, LLM and PhD degrees, and also provides professional legal education including the Graduate Diploma in Law conversion course, the Legal Practice Course, for intending solicitors, and the Bar Professional Training Course for intending barristers.

Madame Tussauds (UK: , US: ) is a wax museum in London; it has smaller museums in other major cities. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud in 1835. It used to be spelled as "Madame Tussaud's"; the apostrophe is no longer used. Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying the waxworks of famous and historical figures, as well as popular film and television characters. The nearest station to the museum is Baker Street which is at the walking distance of 120 metres (390 ft).

Luxborough Street, formerly Northumberland Street, is a street in the City of Westminster, London, that runs from Marylebone Road in the north to Paddington Street in the south. Nottingham Street joins Luxborough Street on its eastern side.

The building known as the London Planetarium is in Marylebone Road, London. It is adjacent to Madame Tussauds and is owned by the same company. It previously housed a planetarium, offering shows relating to space and astronomy. In 2006, it closed as a separate attraction and is now part of Madame Tussauds. From 2010, the building that once housed the London Planetarium houses the Marvel Super Heroes 4D attraction. The only planetarium in London is now the Peter Harrison Planetarium in Greenwich, south east London, which opened in 2007.

Embassy of Republic Latvia to the United Kingdom is a diplomatic mission in London. The Consular Section for passports, visas and other services is located at The Grove House, 248A Marylebone Road, London, NW1 6JF (entrance from Lisson Grove Street).

Nottingham Street is a street in the City of Westminster, London, that runs from Marylebone High Street in the east to Luxborough Street in the west. It is crossed by Nottingham Place. Bingham Place and Oldbury Place join it on the north side.

Chiltern Court, Baker Street, London, is a large block of flats at the street's northern end, facing Regent's Park and Marylebone Road. It was built between 1927 and 1929 above the Baker Street tube station by the Metropolitan Railway. Originally intended as a hotel and as its company headquarters, and begun in 1912, the Metropolitan's plans were interrupted by the First World War. When construction recommenced in the late 1920s, the building was redesigned as a block of flats and the Chiltern Court Restaurant. The architect was Charles Walter Clark. During the 1930s the block was home to a number of notable figures, including the writers H. G. Wells, who held a weekly literary salon at his apartment, and Arnold Bennett, who died at the court in 1931. The composer Eric Coates lived in the block between 1930-36, and the cartoonist David Low was also a resident. During World War II, the Special Operations Executive was based at 64 Baker Street, and its Norwegian Section was located in three flats at Chiltern Court, from where it directed the operations against the heavy water plant at Telemark. Chiltern Court is not listed, being specifically excluded from the listing designation for Baker Street tube station. It is recorded in Pevsner, where it is described as "a stately classical pile, the grandest [of the] mansion flats" in the vicinity. The Chiltern Court Restaurant, now a bar, was referenced by John Betjeman in his television programme from 1973, Metro-land.

Colony, or Colony Bar and Grill is a restaurant, bar and grill located at 7–9 Paddington Street, Marylebone, Central London, England. It opened in early April 2010 and was run by restaurateur Carlo Spetale and the Michelin-starred executive chef Atul Kochhar.Atul Kocchar announced he was leaving the business in June 2011 to focus on other interests. The split was described as amicable.The cuisine of the restaurant is inspired by that of the British colonies from colonial Asia, East Africa, the Caribbean etc. but is mainly inspired by Indian street food, specifically "the marinades, aromatic flavours and grilling methods" of the street traders of colonial Asia. The General Manager of the restaurant is John Lacombe, formerly of The Connaught Hotel, 5th Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols and Notting Hill Brasserie amongst others. Lacombe is also responsible for the winery of the restaurant. It has a reputable cocktail lounge.

Paddington Street Gardens are two small public gardens located either side of Paddington Street in the Marylebone area of London. The larger south garden contains a children's playground.

A statue of Sherlock Holmes by the sculptor John Doubleday stands near the supposed site of 221B Baker Street, the fictional detective's address in London. Unveiled on 23 September 1999, the sculpture was funded by the Abbey National building society, whose headquarters were on the purported site of the famous address. As no site was available on Baker Street itself the statue was installed outside Baker Street tube station, on Marylebone Road. Doubleday had previously produced a statue of Holmes for the town of Meiringen in Switzerland, below the Reichenbach Falls whence the detective fell to his apparent death in the 1893 story "The Final Problem".

Paddington Street is a street in the City of Westminster in London that runs from the junction of Crawford Street and Baker Street in the east to Marylebone High Street in the west. Sherlock Mews, Chiltern Street, Luxborough Street, and Nottingham Place join Paddington Street on its north side. On the south side, Kenrick Place, Chiltern Street, and Ashland Place adjoin Paddington Street. The two open spaces of Paddington Street Gardens are situated on either side of the road. The Hellenic Centre is located at 16–18 Paddington Street.

Chiltern Street is a road in the Marylebone area of Central London. Located in the City of Westminster, it runs north to south connecting Marylebone Road and Blandford Street. Baker Street runs parallel a little way to the west. It meets Dorset Street, Crawford Street and Paddington Street along its route. Manchester Square is located beyond the southern end of the street. It is part of the Portman Estate and dates back to the eighteenth century. Historically it was known as East Street, with the name changing in 1937. Until the second half of the nineteenth century it didn't run as far north as the Marylebone Road, with the short David Street and buildings blocking the route. It is one of several streets and buildings in the area with names linked to the Chiltern Hills, which were connected to Marylebone from both the Metropolitan Line and the Great Central Railway from Marylebone Station. The street shares its name with the Chiltern Court building over Baker Street tube station which was planned in 1912 but not fully constructed until the 1920s after wartime delays. An entrance to the station is located on the junction between Chiltern Street and Marylebone Road. The street features a mixture of commercial and residential buildings. At the southern end is the 1899 Grade II listed Chiltern Firehouse, formerly the Marylebone Fire Station and now converted into a restaurant. In 1864 a Welsh Methodist Chapel was opened in the street. A particular feature is the large redbrick Portman Mansions constructed in the 1890s at the northern end of the street. Notable residents of the street have included Henry Segrave the world land speed record holder in the 1920s, who is now commemorated with a blue plaque.
