WYSE (970 AM) is a radio station located in Canton, North Carolina, that simulcasts WISE's sports format from Asheville, North Carolina. The station is owned by Saga Communications, and operated as part of its Asheville Radio Group. WYSE is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to broadcast with 5,000 watts of power during the day and 30 watts at night. The station is an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves radio network, the largest radio affiliate network in Major League Baseball.

Patton Farm is a historic farm complex located near Phillipsville, Haywood County, North Carolina. The farmhouse was built about 1880, and is a two-story, three bay by one bay, brick dwelling with Italianate style design elements. It has a gable roof and a 2 1/2-story brick rear ell. Also on the property are the contributing gambrel roof barn, a small frame woodshed, a smokehouse, and a small board-and-batten dwelling. The Patton Farm was established about 1830.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

It is a two-story, frame dwelling sheathed in weatherboard and exhibits Georgian and Late Victorian style design elements. It features a full-facade double-tier porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.The house is home to the Shook Museum, operated by the Haywood County Historical and Genealogical Society.

It was built in 1883, and is a three bay by four bay rectangular gable front brick church. The church has been altered significantly during three separate rehabilitation projects undertaken since 1950. It is probably the oldest church building remaining in Haywood County.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
