The San Bernabé Station (Spanish: Estación San Bernabé) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the Solidaridad Avenue and Lic Julio Camelo intersection in Monterrey. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as the western terminus of the inaugural section of Line 1, between San Bernabé and Exposición. On 11 June 2003, the line was extended west to Talleres.This station serves San Bernabé, Loma Linda and Valle de Santa Lucia. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the neighborhood in which is located (Colonia San Bernabé), and its logo represents the silhouette of San Bernabé, from which the zone is named after.

Aztlán Station (Spanish: Estación Aztlán) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. This station is located on Aztlán Avenue in Monterrey. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. It was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, between San Bernabé and Exposición.This station serves the heavy populated Aztlán, Nueva Galicia and Valle del Topo Chico neighborhoods, there's an IMSS hospital, a supermarket, and several stores near the station. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after Aztlán Avenue, and its logo represents an Aztec pyramid since Aztlán is a legendary aztec city.

Talleres Station (Spanish: Terminal Talleres) is a terminal station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located on Ave. Solidaridad and Esquisto St. in the San Bernabé VI neighborhood in Monterrey, Mexico. This station is named after the Metrorrey maintenance shops (talleres) that are located right after the station, and its logo represents a train during maintenance. Although this part of Line 1 was operational from the start, the original terminal of Line 1 was San Bernabé station. At that time the line from San Bernabé to Talleres was only used to get trains to the shops. It was not until June 11, 2003, that this portion of the line was opened for passenger service and Talleres became a station.Unlike the rest of the stations in Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro, Talleres is accessed at ground level.

Topo Chico was a prison located in Monterrey, northern Mexico, close to Penitenciaría metro station (Spanish for 'penitentiary'). The prison is an establishment of the Federal Government of Mexico and is administered by the Secretariat of Public Security (Spanish: Secretaría de Seguridad Pública, SSP). The director of the prison is Gregoria Salazar Robles, appointed 12 March 2012.As of September 2015 the prison was overcrowded with a capacity for 3,685 inmates but a population of 4,091. The infrastructure in poor condition with generally no water, light or ventilation in the cells according to a 2014 report by United Nations Special Rapporteur Juan E. Méndez.

Penitenciaría (Spanish: Estación de Penitenciaría) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. Its location is at Rodrigo Gómez Avenue in Monterrey, near the state criminal courthouses and Topo Chico prison. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the Simón Bolivar neighborhood (Colonia Simón Bolivar) and also to Valle Morelos. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the nearby criminal facilities (Spanish: penitenciaría, lit. 'penitentiary') and its logo represents the scale of Lady Justice.

Alfonso Reyes Station (Spanish: Estación Alfonso Reyes) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Rodrigo Gomez and Alfonso Reyes Avenues in Monterrey, México. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the Nueva Morelos and Central neighborhoods (Colonias Nueva Morelos y Central). This station is named after Alfonso Reyes Avenue, and its logo represents a book, since Alfonso Reyes was a great writer and whom the Avenue is named after.

The Cerro del Topo Chico (Spanish, 'Small Mole Hill', from the Latin talpa 'mole') is a mountain and a protected area in the Escobedo, San Nicolás and Monterrey municipalities; state of Nuevo León, Mexico. The summit reaches 1,178 meters above sea level, and it has 618 meters of prominence (Parent: Cerro de las Mitras). The mountain is about 7.5 km long, is a symbol of Escobedo and San Nicolás, and is completely surrounded by Monterrey metropolitan area. It is known for being the source of the Topo Chico mineral water.

Mitras Station (Spanish: Estación Mitras) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Simón Bolívar and Ruiz Cortinez Avenues in Monterrey, México. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the Mitras Norte and Bernardo Reyes neighborhoods (Colonias Mitras Norte y Bernardo Reyes). It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the Mitras neighborhood, and its logo represents the Cerro de las Mitras ('Miter Hill').

The Autonomous University of Nuevo León (Spanish: Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, UANL) is a public university with seven campuses across the northern Mexican state of Nuevo León. Founded as University of Nuevo León on 25 September 1933, it is the third largest public university in Mexico in terms of student population and the most important institution of higher learning in Northeastern Mexico, which offers the highest number of academic programs.
