The Niños Héroes Station (Spanish: Estación Niños Héroes) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Alfonso Reyes and Ciudad de Los Ángeles Avenues. This station is next to the Niños Héroes Park (from which the station takes its name), it's also near the Raúl Rangel Frías Library of the University of Nuevo León, the Nuevo León Cycling track, and the Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station's logo represents a stylized headshot of a "Niño Héroe" (one of the hero boys that died defending the country against the American invasion in 1847). This station was inaugurated on October 31, 2007 as part of the first stage of the Line 2 expansion (along with Regina Station and Universidad).

The Universidad Station (Spanish: Estación Universidad) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the Alfonso Reyes Avenue. This station is next to the campus of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL – from which it takes its name), and it sees heavy traffic of students on a daily basis. The station is also the nearest to the Estadio Universitario, the home venue of the UANL Tigres. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station's logo represents the flame and atoms that appear in the logo of the UANL. This station was inaugurated on October 31, 2007, as part of the first stage of the Line 2 expansion (along with Regina and Niños Heroes Stations). It served as the Line 2 terminus until stage 2 of the Line 2 expansion was completed on October 1, 2008, when Sendero Station took its place as the northern terminus of the line.

Estadio Gaspar Mass is an artificial turf stadium in San Nicolás de los Garza, Mexico, a city in the Monterrey metropolitan area. It is primarily used for American football and is the home field for the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) Auténticos Tigres. It has a seating capacity of approximately 16,000.

The Autonomous University of Nuevo León (Spanish: Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, UANL) is a public university with seven campuses across the northern Mexican state of Nuevo León. Founded as University of Nuevo León on 25 September 1933, it is the third largest public university in Mexico in terms of student population and the most important institution of higher learning in Northeastern Mexico, which offers the highest number of academic programs. The Regina Station (Spanish: Estación Regina) is a station on Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located along Alfonso Reyes Avenue where it is intersected by Juan Sánchez Azcona street. This station is three blocks away from the Monumental Monterrey (Monterrey's main Bullfighting ring) and across the street from the Coca-Cola bottler. Its logo represents the architecture of the station's entrance, and it is accessible for people with disabilities. This station was inaugurated on October 31, 2007. It was part of the first stage of the Line 2 expansion (along with Niños Heroes Station and Universidad), being the only underground station of the Line 2 extension project.

The General Anaya station (Spanish: Estación General Anaya) is a station on the Monterrey Metro. The station was opened on 30 November 1994 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of Line 2, between General Anaya and Zaragoza. On 31 October 2007, the line was extended north to Universidad. General Anaya is an underground station located on Avenida Alfonso Reyes in the city of Monterrey. The General Anaya station is located nearby the FEMSA headquarters building and just a few steps from the Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma.

The Anáhuac Station (Spanish: Estación Anáhuac) is part of the expansion of Line 2 of the Monterrey Metro. This station was planned to be a hub for the "Transmetro" BRT program, but those plans were later scrapped. This station serves the San Nicolás centre and the Anahuác neighborhood, from which the station takes its name. It is accessible for people with disabilities. Its logo represents the tower of the House of Culture La Pérgola, which is representative of the neighborhood. The station was opened on 1 October 2008 as part of the extension of the line from Universidad and Sendero.

Alfonso Reyes Station (Spanish: Estación Alfonso Reyes) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Rodrigo Gomez and Alfonso Reyes Avenues in Monterrey, México. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the Nueva Morelos and Central neighborhoods (Colonias Nueva Morelos y Central). It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after Alfonso Reyes Avenue, and its logo represents a book, since Alfonso Reyes was a great writer and whom the Avenue is named after.

Penitenciaría (Spanish: Estación de Penitenciaría) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. Its location is at Rodrigo Gómez Avenue in Monterrey, near the state criminal courthouses and Topo Chico prison. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the Simón Bolivar neighborhood (Colonia Simón Bolivar) and also to Valle Morelos. It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the nearby criminal facilities (Spanish: penitenciaría, lit. 'penitentiary') and its logo represents the scale of Lady Justice.

Mitras Station (Spanish: Estación Mitras) is a station on Line 1 of the Monterrey Metro. It is located in the intersection of Simón Bolívar and Ruiz Cortinez Avenues in Monterrey, México. This station is located in the Colon Avenue in the northeast side of the Monterrey Centre. The station was opened on 25 April 1991 as part of the inaugural section of Line 1, going from San Bernabé to Exposición.This station serves the Mitras Norte and Bernardo Reyes neighborhoods (Colonias Mitras Norte y Bernardo Reyes). It is accessible for people with disabilities. This station is named after the Mitras neighborhood, and its logo represents the Cerro de las Mitras ('Miter Hill').

Topo Chico was a prison located in Monterrey, northern Mexico, close to Penitenciaría metro station (Spanish for 'penitentiary'). The prison is an establishment of the Federal Government of Mexico and is administered by the Secretariat of Public Security (Spanish: Secretaría de Seguridad Pública, SSP). The director of the prison is Gregoria Salazar Robles, appointed 12 March 2012.As of September 2015 the prison was overcrowded with a capacity for 3,685 inmates but a population of 4,091. The infrastructure in poor condition with generally no water, light or ventilation in the cells according to a 2014 report by United Nations Special Rapporteur Juan E. Méndez.
