Joseph Sedacca Residence or Sedacca House in Northwest Harbor, New York is the third residential house designed by the American architect Charles Gwathmey (1938–2009).The house, the curtilage of which covers 3 acres, was built by John Caramagna in 1968 is surrounded by tall white pine trees and dogwoods. It is the first modernist beach residence designed by the American architect Charles Gwathmey. After the 1100-square-feet house was built in 1968, the exterior combination with geometric shapes and blocks, plus its interior abundance use of glasses and steels with a stylish spiral staircase, made it stand out in a neighborhood dominated by shingle style Cape Cod houses. Sedacca House was frequently the background of wedding photos and appeared on the cover pages and articles of both American and other fashion and architecture magazines. In 1968, Sedacca House won the American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York Honor Award. In Gwathmey's words, "[It] broke the mold of the vernacular, shingle-style house and showed for the first time a modern house that was not imitative or historicist.” The Sedacca House has been sold a few times. Still, it receives significant local concern about added alteration and global attention as a distinguished modernist architecture in East Hampton.

Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery is a cemetery in East Hampton, New York, that is the burial ground for the paternal ancestors and relatives of First Lady of the United States Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The cemetery on Cedar Street north of the village is associated with Most Holy Trinity (formerly Saint Philomena) Roman Catholic Church in East Hampton although it is a mile north of the church. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who was born nearby at Southampton Hospital, spent her summers until age 10 at her grandfather's home called Lasata. She is buried not at Most Holy Trinity but next to her first husband, President John F. Kennedy, in Arlington National Cemetery.

East Hampton Union Free School District is a public school district located in the Town of East Hampton on Long Island, in Suffolk County, New York, United States. It includes the village of East Hampton, the unincorporated area just north of the village, and the hamlet of Northwest Harbor.The total enrollment for the 2019–2020 school year was 1,712 students. The current superintendent, Adam Fine, assumed the position on July 1, 2021. Previously, he served as Assistant Superintendent for one year and was the high school principal for 10 years. Fine replaced Robert Burns, who had served as superintendent since 2011.East Hampton is bordered by the Springs and Amagansett districts to the east, and the Wainscott and Sag Harbor districts to the west.

East Hampton High School is a high school in East Hampton, Suffolk County, New York, United States. Located on the east end of Long Island, the school is the easternmost high school in New York State. It is part of the East Hampton Union Free School District, but also educates students in the neighboring communities of Wainscott, Springs, Amagansett, and Montauk as a result of tuition contracts with the respective local school districts.In the 2019–2020 school year, the total enrollment was 920 students and the school had a four-year graduation rate of 82%. The current principal is Sara Smith, a former assistant principal at Southampton High School. Smith succeeded James Crenshaw, who resigned after one year to become assistant superintendent of Longwood Central School District further west on Long Island.The school's sports teams are known as the Bonackers, and the school colors are maroon and gray.

Stephen Sherrill House is a historic home located at East Hampton in Suffolk County, New York. It was built in 1857 and is a frame Greek Revival / Italianate residence. It is a two-story, gable front, side entrance residence with a three bay wide front facade. Also on the property is the former kitchen wing believed to date to 1802 and moved to its present location in 1927, and a wind pump tower.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

East Hampton is a station on the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Rail Road, on Railroad Avenue between Newtown Lane and Race Lane, in East Hampton, New York. Parking is available along Railroad Avenue as far west as King Street. A bus/taxi lane is in front of the station house.

Pritam & Eames is an art gallery associated with the American Studio Furniture movement which was established in 1981 by Bebe Pritam Johnson and Warren Eames Johnson in East Hampton, New York.In 1990 to 1991, the gallery partners interviewed 14 of the artists who were early and continuing contributors to the gallery, which included: These conversations were turned into a 2013 book, Speaking of Furniture: Conversations with 14 American Masters. In 2014, Bebe and Warren Johnson received the Award of Distinction from The Furniture Society. In the spring of 2015, Pritam & Eames re-located its exhibition space to The Gallery at Somes Sound on Mount Desert Island, Maine.

Ross School is a private K-12 school located on 63 acres in the Town of East Hampton, on Long Island, New York, United States. Named after her late husband Steven J. Ross, the school was founded in 1991 by Courtney Sale Ross as a girls-only day school for their daughter Nicole and several of her friends. The original pre-nursery, nursery, and pre-kindergarten programs were discontinued in September 2020. Ross School transitioned to a co-ed boarding school in 2002 after its founder discontinued private funding. Students in grades 6-12 may board five days per week or full-time. The school has supplemented its budget by catering breakfast and lunch from its café to the Bridgehampton School and offering culinary arts and landscaping classes to East Hampton High School students.A majority of the student body is international, with the highest-represented nations including Brazil, China, Japan, and Mexico. Head of School Bill O'Hearn has served in similar positions at the Beijing City International School in China and the Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa, Kenya.In 2020, former Ross School student Hayden Soloviev and his father Stefan Soloviev filed a $10 million lawsuit against the school alleging that the student was subject to bullying, harassment, and threats by Ross School faculty.

Buell's Lane Historic District is a national historic district located at East Hampton, New York in Suffolk County, New York. The district includes 25 contributing buildings; 20 principal buildings and five outbuildings. The district is almost exclusively residential and represent variations of late Victorian period vernacular design built between 1884 and about 1910. Also included in the district is Most Holy Trinity Church (formerly St. Philomena's Church), built in 1894, and a two-story wagon shop built in 1896.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
