Cliff Park Ormiston Academy (formerly Cliff Park High School) is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in the Gorleston-on-Sea area of Great Yarmouth in the English county of Norfolk. The school educates children aged 11 to 16.

Gorleston Links was a railway station in Gorleston, England. It was located on an embankment to the north of Links Road and to the south west of the end of Hill Avenue. The tracks southward crossed Links Road by bridge. Gorleston Links was opened in July 1914 to serve the adjacent golf course . The station was closed four years later as a post-war economy measure, but later reopened in 1919, this time as a result of the increasing number of holiday makers visiting the area. Initially named "Gorleston Links Halt", the station was renamed just "Gorleston Links" in 1968, merely two years before its eventual closure.The area where the station was situated has changed greatly in the years since 1970; residential redevelopment has led to the removal of the bridge and embankment, leaving no trace of the former halt. The route of the railway line south of Gorleston Links ran almost parallel with the A12 (Lowestoft Road) to Station Road in Hopton, which was the location of Hopton railway station.

Gorleston Football Club is a football club based in Gorleston, Norfolk, England. They are currently members of the Isthmian League North Division and temporarily play at Crown Meadow in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Gorleston-on-Sea railway station was a station in Gorleston-on-Sea in Norfolk. It was on the line between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft which closed in 1970. The station was demolished after closure and the site is now occupied by the A47 road.

Ormiston Venture Academy (formerly Oriel Specialist Mathematics and Computing College) is a secondary school with academy status located in Oriel Avenue, Gorleston in the English county of Norfolk. The school educates children aged 11 to 16. It is housed in a block constructed in 2008 and a second newer building that stands where the original building, constructed in 1954, was located. The present facility includes a new reception area, Learning Resource Centre, and classrooms; it was opened in March 2014 by alumnus Callum Cooke.

Gorleston-on-Sea (), known colloquially as Gorleston, is a town in the unparished area of Great Yarmouth, in the Great Yarmouth district, in the county of Norfolk, England. It is to the south of the town of Great Yarmouth, at the mouth of the River Yare, it was a port town at the time of the Domesday Book. The port then became a centre of fishing for herring along with salt pans used for the production of salt to preserve the fish. In Edwardian times the fishing industry rapidly declined and the town's role changed to that of a seaside resort.

East Norfolk Sixth Form College (commonly abbreviated to EN) is a sixth form college in the Gorleston-on-Sea area of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. Opened in 1982 it uses the building of the former Alderman Leach Secondary Modern school to form part of its campus in the centre of Gorleston-on-Sea. The college offers 80 different subjects including A levels, BTEC, GCSE and a number of other pathways in further education. New pathways include T Levels and the Level 4 Foundation Degree programmes and the Elite Football Programme in conjunction with Norwich City CSF. The College is also one of only 25 FA Super Hubs and the only local provider with a Combined Cadet Force (CCF). It is also an approved centre for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. The college has about 1,600 students most of whom are aged 16–18 and enrol from a wide catchment area across Norfolk and North Suffolk. In recent years the college has undergone expansion and refurbishment in a number of areas and in 2021 is investing a further £3 million into the campus. This includes a state of the art 3G pitch, and investment in new classrooms and technology to support the delivery of the T Level programme.

Gorleston (Range Rear) Lighthouse is located near mouth of River Yare in the Gorleston-on-Sea area of Great Yarmouth in the English county of Norfolk. The lighthouse was built in 1878. Gorleston-on-Sea lighthouse carries two lights. The rear light for the harbour entrance range (white light, 4 seconds on, 2 seconds off) is mounted on the tower with a focal plane of 6.7 metres (22 ft); a fixed red light is also displayed from the gallery with a focal plane of 20.1 metres (66 ft).

Great Yarmouth and Gorleston lifeboat station (not to be confused with Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight) is a RNLI base in Norfolk, England. There were originally two separate stations at Great Yarmouth and Gorleston – two coastal towns either side of the River Yare. These were merged in 1926.

Hopton-on-Sea was a railway station serving the village of Hopton-on-Sea in Norfolk on the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Railway line between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. It opened in 1903 and closed in 1970. The station opened as Hopton on 13 July 1903 and was renamed to Hopton-on-Sea on 18 July 1932.From 1935 to 1939 and possibly for some of 1934, Hopton had a static LNER Camping coach in a siding. It was used as accommodation for holiday makers. A coach was also positioned here by Eastern Region of British Railways from 1952 to 1954, then there were two coaches until the end of the 1960 season. These were replaced in 1961 by two Pullman camping coaches until all camping coaches in the region were withdrawn at the end of the 1965 season.In the 1960s the station was destaffed and the line was reduced from double track to single track. The station closed on 4 May 1970 with the rest of the line.After closure the station was demolished, the embankments and infrastructure removed and the site redeveloped with housing leaving no trace of the railways existence except the road which served the station is still called Station Road. The former Station Masters House is now a private residence called "Station House".

Gorleston South Pier Lighthouse and Coastwatch watch station is located in the town of Gorleston in the English county of Norfolk. The lighthouse and station is located at the end of the south pier of seaport on the south side of Great Yarmouth.

Lynn Grove Academy (formerly Lynn Grove High School) is a secondary school with academy status, located between the Gorleston-on-Sea and Bradwell areas of Great Yarmouth in the English county of Norfolk. The school educates about 1,400 children between the ages of 11 and 16. The school was originally constructed as one main building which has been extended and other blocks and facilities such as a new library and astroturf area have been added. Following an Ofsted inspection in May 2015 the school was rated 'Requires Improvement'. Following a further inspection in May 2017 the school was rated 'Good'.
