WBZC (88.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Four Rivers Community Broadcasting Corporation in Pemberton, New Jersey, United States. At 10,000 watts, the station served Burlington County, Southern New Jersey and metro Philadelphia region, making it one of the most powerful college radio stations in the country. WBZC's frequency allocation was made possible after The University of Pennsylvania's WXPN in Philadelphia moved from 88.9 FM to its present frequency of 88.5 FM in 1991. Previously owned by Rowan College, the station is now fully owned by Four Rivers Community Broadcasting Corporation. WBZC began broadcasting in January 1995, and in 1996 was named the number one college radio station in America based on listenership, large coverage area in the nation's fourth-largest radio market and unique programming and content, the award was bestowed by the National Association of College Broadcasters in Providence Rhode Island. The station was a platform launching many careers of prominent broadcasters in the industry today. With the moving of the Pemberton campus of Burlington County College, the station ceased its regional programming and transmission on January 18, 2018. After being sold to Four Rivers Community Broadcasting Corporation in March 2019, WBZC came back on the air with Word FM and Rowan College's part of the radio station becoming a popular online music and information radio station known as RCBC Radio with a downloadable app heard worldwide on TuneIn and Amazon Alexa. Today, WBZC-FM broadcasts 10,000 watts of Christian radio across the Delaware Valley.

Franklin Parker Preserve is an 11,379 acre natural preserve located in the Pine Barrens in Chatsworth, New Jersey. The preserve links Brendan Byrne, Wharton, and Penn State Forests. Franklin Parker Preserve is owned and managed by New Jersey Conservation Foundation.

Bullock is an unincorporated community that straddles Woodland Township, Burlington County and Manchester Township, Ocean County in the middle of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Much of the area surrounding Bullock is a part of the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest though there are some clearings for small houses along Savoy Boulevard in Woodland Township and Pasadena Road in Manchester Township. The settlement is located where these two roads, the New Jersey Southern Railroad, and the Keith line (separating the two counties) converge.

The Brendan T. Byrne State Forest (formerly the Lebanon State Forest) is a 37,242 acres (150.71 km2) state forest in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Its protected acreage is split between Burlington and Ocean Counties.

Apple Pie Hill is a hill in Tabernacle Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. It is 205 feet (62 m) tall, making it one of the highest points of the New Jersey Pine Barrens. A 60-foot-tall (18 m) fire tower stands atop the summit, offering views of the surrounding Pine Barrens. The skylines of Atlantic City and Philadelphia are visible from the top of the tower. It lies along the Batona Trail in Wharton State Forest, making it a popular hiking destination. On September 10, 2016, due to vandalism, the Department of Environmental Protection closed Apple Pie Hill to public access by erecting a fence around the tower. However, the tower is open to visitors when staff members are present and by appointment.Soils are sandy almost everywhere, with profiles that resemble classic podzol development; Atsion, Lakehurst, Lakewood, and Woodmansie are common soil series.

The Pinelands Center at Mount Misery (more commonly known as Mount Misery) is a Methodist retreat center and campground in Browns Mills, New Jersey in the United States. The center is located on 150 acres near Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, within the New Jersey Pine Barrens on a narrow dirt road known as "Mount Misery Road", near Route 70. Mount Misery Brook flows through this area.

Presidential Lakes Estates is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Pemberton Township, in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,365.

Country Lake Estates is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Pemberton Township, in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 3,943.

Bisphams Mill Creek is a 5.9-mile-long (9.5 km) tributary of Greenwood Branch in the southern New Jersey Pine Barrens in the United States.

Dix National Forest was established in New Jersey by the U.S. Forest Service on April 10, 1925 with 6,785 acres (27.46 km2) from part of the Fort Dix Military Reservation. On April 6, 1928 the executive order for its creation was rescinded and the forest was abolished.
