Munmorah State Conservation Area

Crangan Bay is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located between Budgewoi and Swansea on the bay of the same name. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The suburb is a bushland area currently undergoing urban development. The major land owners are the local aboriginal land council and land held by an urban development company and the Coal and Allied mining company, who intend to turn this area into a suburb. There is a concrete recycling depot and gravel quarry on the northern end of the suburb which contains conglomerate used for road base. This product has been extensively used by Wyong Shire Council in the construction of local roads. This bay is part of the greater Wallarah Peninsula and Lower Hunter bioregions.

Lake Munmorah is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area.

HMAS Allenwood (FY18) was an auxiliary minesweeper operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) during World War II. She was launched in 1920 by Ernst Wright at Tuncurry, New South Wales, Australia as Allenwood for Allen Taylor and Co. Ltd. The ship operated along the east coast of Australia, and was requisitioned by the RAN on 27 July 1941. She was returned to her owners in 1946 before being wrecked near Norah Head on 14 September 1951.

Moonee is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Moonee is largely unpopulated, with nearly all of its land area being part of the Munmorah State Conservation Area. In the west of the area is the decommissioned Moonee Colliery.

Budgewoi Peninsula is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, on a narrow peninsula between Munmorah Lake and the Pacific Ocean. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Budgewoi Peninsula is unpopulated, with nearly all of its land area being part of the Munmorah State Conservation Area.

Catherine Hill Bay Cultural Precinct is a heritage-listed company town at Catherine Hill Bay, City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 5 November 2010.

The Bird Island Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve located near Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The island is situated 1.4 kilometres (0.87 mi) off the east coast of New South Wales, within the Tasman Sea. The reserve may be seen from the lighthouse at Norah Head.

Adelaide was a wooden cutter that was wrecked near Bird Island, Norah Head, New South Wales, in May 1834. She was carrying a load of timber.

Lake Munmorah or Munmorah Lake, a lagoon that is part of the Tuggerah Lakes, is located within the Central Coast Council local government area in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The lake is located near the settlement of Lake Munmorah and is situated about 110 kilometres (68 mi) north of Sydney.
