Catherine Hill Bay Cultural Precinct is a heritage-listed company town at Catherine Hill Bay, City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 5 November 2010.

No. 208 Radar Station RAAF is a heritage-listed former Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) radar station at Mine Camp at Catherine Hill Bay and Pinny Beach, both in City of Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. It was established on 10 February 1943. The remains of the radar station were added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 22 July 2008.

Snapper Point is an Australian conservation zone a few hundred meters away from Frazer Park beach, located near Catherine Hill Bay, New South Wales. The area around and on Snapper Point consists of steep, jagged volcanic rocks.

Munmorah State Conservation Area is located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The area's coastal setting and panoramic views, perched sand dunes, diverse vegetation communities, protected threatened species and migratory bird habitats, together with opportunities for nature based recreation and for educational and scientific study, were cited as reasons for the reserve's creation. The reserve is part of the Tuggerah Important Bird Area, identified as such by BirdLife International because of its importance for a variety of water and woodland birds.The area is located at an estimated altitude of 50 meters.

Nords Wharf is a rural locality south of Swansea on the shore of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the City of Lake Macquarie local government area. The Aboriginal people, in this area, the Awabakal, were the first people of this land.The first school opened in 1901.

Crangan Bay is a coastal suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located between Budgewoi and Swansea on the bay of the same name. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The suburb is a bushland area currently undergoing urban development. The major land owners are the local aboriginal land council and land held by an urban development company and the Coal and Allied mining company, who intend to turn this area into a suburb. There is a concrete recycling depot and gravel quarry on the northern end of the suburb which contains conglomerate used for road base. This product has been extensively used by Wyong Shire Council in the construction of local roads. This bay is part of the greater Wallarah Peninsula and Lower Hunter bioregions.

It is located on the Swansea Peninsula and is to the east of Lake Macquarie, south of the Pacific Ocean entrance channel at Swansea in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the City of Lake Macquarie local government area.

HMAS Allenwood (FY18) was an auxiliary minesweeper operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) during World War II. She was launched in 1920 by Ernst Wright at Tuncurry, New South Wales, Australia as Allenwood for Allen Taylor and Co. Ltd. The ship operated along the east coast of Australia, and was requisitioned by the RAN on 27 July 1941. She was returned to her owners in 1946 before being wrecked near Norah Head on 14 September 1951.
